SOURCE: Will not stay on

Reset the unit by pushing a bent paperclip or pin into the hole on the bottom marked 'reset' turn it back on, plug it in & charge it via USB overnight or as long as you can in the car, make sure the led on the top is green, tap the bottom right of the screen & check the battery symbol on the unit says charging underneath.

If this doesn't help.
contact them about the problem...

SOURCE: my e2 frozen on the palm powered logo

Okay here it goes, your going to want to leave it on for however many hours it takes to completely drain the battery then you're going to want to recharge it back to normal charge, and try restarting it again. This will delete completely anything that is keeping it from restarting properly. If you did open up the machine without following "antistatic procedure" you may have fried a component on the board and then your in trouble
you'll need to salvage a board from another tungsten and put it back in your PDA and hope you put it back together right

SOURCE: hi please help me with my acer 3003 wont boot

try to power up with power cord only and see if it works. If no lights turn on than your motherboard is dead. If it turns on and nothing happens make sure there is memory installed(RAM). If it turns on and you see windows screen than it shuts off than your operating system needs to be installed again. Also, you can try booting in safe mode by hitting f8 when you initially start your computer and see if it stays on and if it does you have a virus most likely. Good luck.

You can return the phone to its factory settings

have added by resetting the system.

Performing a soft reset

To perform a soft reset:

Press the RESET key inside the hole on the right

of the phone with your stylus pen.

Performing a hard reset

To perform a hard reset:

and holding.

Resetting the phone

To reset the phone's system:

tab ? Clear Memory ? Clear Memory. Write

"yes" in the input field and tap Yes.

After about 5 seconds, the phone reboots and

then begins alignment process.

Palm T3 frozen, tried restart in hole, nothing?

Doing a soft reset A soft reset tells your handheld to stop what it's doing and start over again. None of your information will be lost. After a soft reset, a screen appears that lets you reset the date and time, if needed. To do a soft reset, use the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld.

If a soft reset does not unfreeze your handheld, you need to do a hard reset. Doing a hard reset Only do a hard reset if a soft reset doesn't solve your problem, or if you want to clear all of your information from your handheld. [!] IMPORTANT A hard reset deletes all records and entries stored on your handheld, including the username that identifies the handheld. Before you do a hard reset, be sure to synchronize.

When powered on start up is up to windows screen only

try to hard reset your phone to return to its factory setting, but please be reminded that this procedure will lose all your user settings, data such as contacts, messages etc,. so we always suggest to back up your phone first,. but in your case, if your phone doesn't open normally there is no way you can back 'em all up. better to sacrifice the data than sacrificing your phone. :)
to perform a hard reset.. 1. Press and hold both soft keys 2. While holding down soft keys, press and release the power button, wait for 3 to 5 second (this time phone should power itself on) 3. Release both soft keys 4. when the screen looks like it is on dos format, press the green key (send key or answer key)
if not successful, repeat the steps....

I have got Samsung Plano 29 inch TV. I see red, green and white color lines at the top of the screen.this slides down till the middle of the screen. Please suggest

dear hari

i suggest you doing this

HARD RESET: First, do the hard reset so that if there is a corruption of the soft codes, this will reprogram them back to the original factory settings. Just unplug the power cord for 4 hours; thereafter plug it in and power it up.

WHACKING Test: Smack the set with your hand or fist all around the chassis; side, top, back, etc. This will reactivate any loose connection or cold solder joint.

If the above two procedures do not help you should be thinking about purchasing a new set. This one is already near the end of life and fixint it will just add to the cost of owning it. You will be better off with a new tv.

The cause of this is most likely coming from the convergence function; this circuit organizes the video signal and modulates the picture and the raster sweeps to each other so that the picture is properly assembled on the screen for viewing. When it goes out, the entire picture will be effected.

If smacking the set restores the picture, try to find a magic smack, or put a magazine or book under one corner to see if it will put some torque on the chassis to keep it going.

But, the set is too old to put very much money into its repair.

Hope this helps you find the right solution.

thx

T-mobile dash

I tried using a the google mail java app on my tmobile dash. It froze up on me, and when i turned it back on it just stays at the "tmobile" splash screen. I have tried using the soft key and power button reset but it doesnt work. What's weird is that it wont power down unless I take the battery out. It powers on, shows the tmobile splash screen, then freezes. Is there any other way to reset it or is it totally bricked? I bought it new off craiglslist so tmobile wont replace it for me cause I'm using it unlocked on cingular.

Ok bro I know I am a bit too late to help you with this problem but someone else may benefit from these directions. I see most places online only have half advice about this very common problem with T-mobile Dash.

This is what you need to do, you have to do a hard reset exactly like "reviel" mention. Also like he said timing is essential but the trick is that you need to show some patience through the process.

Note: Please read the directions completely before doing anything for better results.

Step 1: Take your battery out and shut off your phone
Step 2: Press and hold the two soft key buttons.
Step 3: Press and hold the power button for exact two seconds, 1001, 1002 and release, but continue to hold the two soft key buttons.
Step 4: Within seconds a black screen with some text will come up asking you to confirm if you wanna delete everything; and right then you let go of your soft key buttons and press the green call button (also known as the "send key").
Step 5: You are done but not really, your job now is to find something else to do and leave your phone alone for at least 2 minutes. Eventually if you don't have a SIM in it, it will prompt you for it and you click the soft key to choose "OK"; also, it will ask you to confirm to restart and you click the soft key to chose "Done" for it.

Wait a minute for it boot up and overall it should do it.
