I have a Amana ASD2622HRW Lately there is a loud buzz that comes and goes. We cleaned everything and blew it out under and behind the fridge. And it still is happening. Any suggestions? It still cools fine. But this Buzz is so loud that you can hear it through the house. Please help!
you may have a bad compressor or a bad compressor relay. The buzzing noise sounds like the compressor trying to start but can't. Unplug the unit and pull the relay off the compressor. If it rattles like gravel in side it replace the relay. If it doesn't then you may need to call a repairman to check the compressor. Hope this helps.
Hello Welcome to fixya. I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,
You said, your ice maker is making a buzzing or humming noise ice maker isn't making much ice. . fridge is about 2 1/2 years old.
This sounds like a clogged water line or a electrical short ! I would get service rather than take a chance on electrical fire. Or burn up the circuit in the ice maker.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to advise you. Huuum Please remember to leave a rating before you leave us

hi thanks for the question that buzzing noise is probably coming from the ice maker water valve that's about the time it cycles i would not worry about its fine just a little noise thanks the appliance doc but if it s too noisyreplace the water valve
i don't know jennair specifically being from england. however, there is often a fan inside the back panel and the noise you heard was the fan hitting ice. the reason now not heard and fridge not working may be that the ice has built up so much the fan is jammed
YOU MAY HAVE A BAD LIGHT BULB, SOCKET OR LIGHT SWITCH. TRY WIGGLING THE SWITCH TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN THE BULB INTENSITY. IF NO CHANGE, TRY REPLACING THE LIGHT BULB. IF NO CHANGE, THE SOCKET NEEDS REPLACED.
