Oven will not work at all after clean cycle

After a clean cycle, the oven will not get hot at all (in any mode) it will not even go into a clean cycle again.  the control panel is working the same as it did. i can feel air comming out of the front vent (not hot at all)

what do you think the problem is

thanks in advance for your advice.

I ran oven through self-cleaning cycle successfully. Used oven later that day and for a few days later successfully. Yesterday, the display beeped, flashed an "E3 F2" (or "E2 F3" - it went away before I definitely decided for sure) error code. After that, the display seemed to be responding properly, and the oven was making the correct sounds (with air blowing out the exhaust port - cold air, that is), but there was no heating occurring in any heating mode I selected. Could it be something as simple as a burned out element...?

After using the self cleaning feature, an error code EO and F3 appeared and the oven has not worked the same since.

I have had the same problem with the E2F3 error message on the oven. Mine however was not after a clean cycle and has been doing it for several months now. I have not had any problems other than it will sometimes do it during cooking. I have to let the oven cool a little bit and then it will start heating again. Frustrating that I can not find an answer to this problem.

My whirlpool oven model RBD245 is locked after the self cleaning cycle, it does not heat up even if i open the latch with a tool?

Whirlpool have the self clean latch assembly solenoid go bad and wont return back to unlock the switch to tell the control is is no longer in self clean. Replace the self clean latch assembly or make sure the switch on the assembly is in the non self clean mode, If the oven starts working then you know the problem if it still doesn't work then there may be other issues.

Self Cleaning Oven Problem

Before you choose to run you oven in the “Self Clean” mode be sure to read this.
After viewing many hundreds of range and oven problems there is one constant theme that comes through. “After running the self clean feature” on my oven I have this problem or that problem. Whether the oven is gas or electric does not seem to matter. The common thing is that the self cleaning feature was just used on the oven, and now it is not working, the glass broke, or you now, cannot even get the door open.

The basic idea of a self cleaning oven is to get the oven so hot that you incinerate everything that is in the oven. The heat from this process will burn up everything in the oven and sometimes things outside also. Even though the wiring and controls are built to withstand high heat, taking the oven to such high temperatures pushes everything to the limit. If something is not insulated perfectly or has shifted a bit then the heat causes it to fail. Repeated heating also wears the insulation out and causes it to break down. For this reason the self cleaning features should be used sparingly.

Manufacturers want to please the customer so even though they know that this can create problems they also know that this feature sells more products. It is in your best interest to not even use this feature if possible.

If you have a oven that will not unlock after the cycle you have a few things you can try.

First make sure that you wait long enough before you try to open the oven. If it has not cooled completely it will not open. Do not run a clean cycle when you do not have the time to let it cool completely before you need it. Sometimes if you cycle the power to your oven off and then on again you can reset the oven and it will open. Turn off the breaker to your oven for a good minute or two before reapplying the power again.

If this fails to work then check your manual for instructions or to get a factory service number. They should be able to give you the information you need to open your oven.

My oven display has a error display of E5F7,oven too hot.. The doors will not open. They are locked in the self-cleaning mode. How can I open the doors or can I do something to override or reset the the...

This problem is caused by defective material in the core
of the solenoid on the door latch. The solenoid works
properly at normal temperatures, and at the beginning of
a self-clean cycle. However, when heated, the plastic
core binds the metal plunger, and will not allow it to unlock
at the end of a cycle. Once cooled, the solenoid will
again work properly. When a technician inspects the
solenoid while it is cool, it will function normally.

SOLUTION: Replace the solenoid with service solenoid #4452224.

Self-Clean gets too hot on JTP56 double-oven

Your husband is correct, kind of. You should not try self clean again until you get the oven repaired. You have a temp sensor going out. I doubt that the oven actually got too hot, most likely the resistor in the sensor is failing as it heats up and giving a false temp reading.Since the lower oven was operating at the time, it is probably the sensor in the lower oven. Don't use it for baking until you get it repaired. It will go out completely and shut down both ovens. You should be able to get a new sensor for around $30 and they are not hard to replace.

The oven won't set your house on fire during clean mode if the cabinets were built with the correct air space and dimensions, but they do get very hot, about 800 degrees F. Most ovens give no trouble during the clean cycle, but if there is any weak components in the electronics system it will show up then. It will give you less trouble over time if you don't use the self clean mode and just manually clean it.

Whirlpool RBS305PDQ11. After self-clean, oven won't heat up.

This seems to be a common problem with these ovens. The oven got too hot and the tco (Thermo cut off)tripped. This will have to be replaced. It is located behind the control board.
