Depending on what type or brand your mp3 player is you will have to convert that video to a certain format.(amv,smv,ect)reason why is because most videos are too big for the screens and need to be downsized.the software that came with it should have a program to convert the vids.also the mp3 player can only play one type of movie and that is the file type the software converts to.please post back with the brand and model of the mp3 player so i can try to find the right software for you

Coby is an electronics manufacturer. It offers a wide range of portable devices including portable MP3 players and portable video players. These devices are small and can play audio files, video files, FM radio and display photos. All media can be added to the device easily using a simple drag and drop method on your computer. You can also use that method to delete files from your device. Supported video formats include WMV, FLV, and AVI.

Instructions

  1. Connect the Coby MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

  2. Click "My Computer." Select "Removable Disk."

  3. Select the "Videos" folder.

  4. Drag and drop the video files you want on the device into the Videos folder associated with the MP3 player's disk.

2.1. Plug device into computer, Drag and Drop music from your computer into "Music" folder of the Sandisk Sansa Clip.
2.2. Use Windows Media Player in your computer to transfer songs to your device; Plug device to computer, open Windows Media Player, click on Sync tab, drag and drop music into "Drag items here " on the right side of the windows media player, click on Start Sync button.

I cannot see and play video clips transfered from canon camera

First off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as it?s connected, this program will also allow you to download YouTube videos and put them on your mp3 player too

MY lap top does not have a cd drive and i need to get a download for the sansa clip. so that i can put music on it off of my laptop

No extra software is needed if you are running XP or Vista. Just plug the player into an empty usb port and wait for windows to recognize it. Then you can drag and drop your music into the music folder under the internal memory of the player or you can sync it through Windows Media Player.

Syncronizing not comp[leting between windows media and MP3

SKIP THE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER! JUST DRAG AND DROP AS BELOW:
(to clear or 'erase' skip to format -below)
1ST: Just try to 'reset' by holding down the main center button AND pushing UP on the lock/off-on button, for about 8-9 seconds,
It will then 'refresh' the database, shouldn't lose anything,
OR:
Most other problems can be fixed ultimately by the following;
REFORMAT the SansaDisk Clip by finding it in My Computer and right click then just 'format' the thing. THEN drag and drop new music into it (or books), DRAG and DROP, you apparently erase the thing with a 'FORMAT' ....BUT - it's .sys files remain and it is like new {as in empty}
This usually fixes almost anything, should even erase a virus (I'm guessing) but shouldn't hurt it.
Good Luck!

-simple 'drag and drop' from my MUSIC folder seems to work just fine for me...

Musik file doesnt show

Change your USB mode to Auto in the Settings menu of your Sansa player, and see if the folder will reappear. Here is a link to your user's manual if you need help seeing what I am talking about:

Put the e260 into MSC mode so it looks like a USB hard disk. Then you can drag/drop videos onto the e260. More about it here
http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=e200&thread.id=10357

So you should not need a special driver to do this. If you want to watch Windows DRM-protected files then you will have to reload the driver and get Windows Media Player up to date :-(

Ilo mp3 I cant erase or add music

Hi,
if you havn't sorted it yet, i have just had to set 1 of these up for someone, you need to make sure the player is turned on and the hour glass has gone so your looking at the select screen before you connect the usb cable to the mp3 player, then you can just drag and drop the files directly onto the drive,
Hope this Helps
Ash

PS. If your instruction manual is anything like the 1 i had to work with its really not helpful at all.
