there is a back light problem the connectors of back light are loosing so please go to your nearest Sony service center & solve the problem but if you know about led so remove the o cell & clean the connectors but if you are end user please don't open the led because the panel is thin

The led blinks continuously or it pauses after some blinks. If it pauses, can you tell me the number of times it blinks between two pause. Please quote the model number also.
SUBJECT: Counter measure for Intermittently 5 times standby LED blinking
SYMPTOM: Customer may report that intermittently after AC OFF/ ON (or
Deep Standby/ ON), TV will shut down with LED blinking 5 times. If set
is placed in Standby, then On, symptom will re occur. If AC is removed,
set will work normally when AC restored
CAUSE: Timing mismatch of I2C communication causes interrupt signal
inside TV. This causes TV to shut down with error 'Standby led flashes 5
times'
SOLUTION: This is a user correctable issue -

for relevant model to download correct update. If the unit is in
Workshop, please perform update as per Instructions.
