SOURCE: cleaned inside then ran a vinegar solution

Have no fear about the vinegar causing the water to stop working. It is not directly related and the problem would have happened at some other time soon.
The most common problem with water not entering the dishwasher is a failed (hot) water inlet valve (solinoid valve) That valve can be found by following the hot water hose to the dishwasher. At the place where the hose connects to the dishwasher you will find the valve.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: coffe residue inside coffee pot

Add some automatic dishwasher detergent ( maybe 1/4 cup) and fill the rest of the pot up with very hot water. Swirl to combine. Let stand for a few hours. Use a bottle brush to scrub the pot. Or get some denture cleaner tablets and throw them into the pot with hot water. Let stand a few hours or overnight, then scrub with bottle brush. I've tried both methods on my coffee pot and both work great for me.

I can't remove the sprayhead on my Bunn one-cup coffee maker. It won't budge! What can I do to loosen it for cleaning?

You should be able to run a solution of vinegar and water thru the machine to clean the insides. About one half cup of white vinegar and four cups of water should do the job. After you have done this, run a couple of cycles of clean water (full pot of water) thru the unit to remove any loose residue or remaining vinegar.

How do i clean the inside of illuma kettle

You can use Lime-Away (at Home Depot) or Apple Cider vinegar. It seems to work much better then regular vinegar. In either case let it boil if it has no element inside the water compartment, put a small clean rag inside and use a wooden spoon to clean the heavier areas. Boil it a few times, then dump it, and boil and clean with clean water twice, then put it back in service.

How do I clean a not self clean ,quick press s506a , not self cleaning black and decker steam iron

Most steam irons can be cleaned deposits by emptying the water and replacing with white vinegar. Let it heat up and use the iron as normal - but on cloth rags instead of clothing. The vinegar breaks down and dissolves the mineral deposits inside that are responsible for sputtering and stains. You can reduce or even eliminate these deposits from forming by using distilled water instead of tap water in the iron - otherwise - run vinegar thru it when it starts acting up. The vinegar "trick" works great on coffee makers, too.

Cleaning inside tank

putting vinegar in the tank OCCASIONALLY wil help to keep the tank and associated tubes clean, but it shold be noted that doing this too often will corrode the aluminum tubing used in the coffee maker. put about a cup and 11/2 of vinegar in the tank and run the coffee maker, followed bu a double run of pure water to clean out the vinegar. should only be done about once a year as vinegar is a mild acid.

How to clean the inside of tea pot (scale deposits)?

Vinegar is very good at removing scaly deposits. Heat white/clear vinegar just as you would normally heat the water for your tea. After heating the vinegar, pour out and rinse thoroughly with water. If there are still deposits after this first attempt, use vinegar once again. Once you are satisfied that all the deposits have been removed, heat water in the tea pot 2-3 times to remove any smell or taste from the vinegar (before using for tea).

Dirty water in my iron

The dirty water coming out of your iron steam holes is caused by the accumulation of 'dirty' tap water: if you look inside an eletric kettle, you will see the same 'dirty' muddy brown mineral residue on the inside. In addition, if your iron is old, it can also be rust. It is a pretty common problem that can be minimized by using distilled water. You can get commercial steam iron cleaning fluid to clean the inside of your steam iron or you an simply use vinegar: 1) with a cold iron, fill the reservoir with straight vinegar 2) Place your iron on top of a metal kitchen rack above your kitchen sink, turn iron on and let it steam out all the vinegar: it should spit out the whitish mineral and muddy brown deposity. 3) Refill iron reservoir with clean water and repeat as of step 2. 4) Refill iron reservoir with clean water, wipe any dirty from the sole plate and this time on full steam, iron on clean layers of Kitchen paper to ensure that all dirt has been removed from the inside of the iron reservoir, if not, repeat from step 1 again.
In the future, try to use distilled or at least filtered water.
Hope it helps: let me know how you go!

I need to know how to clean my filters on Hunter Humidifier Model # 33222. I have misplaced my instructions.

The instruction manual suggests using the water vinegar solution.
The following is from the manual.
1. Turn the humidifier ‘OFF’ and unplug the unit.
2. Lift the main housing and remove the water dispersion tray and the PermaWick™ Filters. The motor is attached to the main housing. Do not place the motor near water. Do not use a wet towel on the motor or motor housing as electrical shock may occur.
3. The PermaWick™ Filter should be cleaned in a vinegar and water solution to remove any mineral buildup. Place in a solution of one (1) gallon of water and eight (8) ounces of undiluted white vinegar. Allow the filter to soak for 20 minutes.
4. After soaking, rinse it several times with clean water. Place the PermaWick™ Filter in a location where it can drip dry while you clean the other parts of your humidifier.
5. Remove the water tank from the base and empty any water that is left in the tank. Soak the base in a mixture of one (1) gallon of water and eight (8) ounces of vinegar for 20 minutes.
6. After soaking, wipe the base with a soft cloth or sponge to remove any mineral build up. Rinse with clean water several times. If you are planning on storing the humidifier, be sure the base is completely dry.
7. Fill the water tank with one (1) gallon of water and eight ounces of undiluted white vinegar. Replace the tank cap and shake the tank vigorously until all interior surfaces of the tank have been exposed to the water/vinegar mixture.
8. Empty the tank of the water/vinegar mixture. Rinse it several times with clean water and then replace the tank cap. If you are planning on storing the humidifier, dry it inside and out, leaving the cap off to allow the tank to completely dry. Continue to clean the other parts of your humidifier.
9. Remove the water diffuser cap by squeezing the two tabs as shown in Figure 3. Rinse the cap in clean water to remove any debris. If the cap contains hard water residue, soak it in a mixture of one (1) quart of water and two (2) ounces of vinegar for 20 minutes. 41553-01 01/03/2008 6 © 2008 Hunter Fan Company
Rinse well and reinstall the water diffuser cap. Do not expose motor or other electrical components to water.
10. Wipe the surfaces of the main housing with a soft cloth.
11. Once all the parts are clean, reassemble the humidifier, and follow the USING YOURHUMIDIFIERto continue use. If you are storing the humidifier, make sure the parts are completely dry, reassemble, and store in a dry location.

Francis francis x1, blocked steamer

Pour in a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar and 50 % water. Set the steam wand knob to a water setting, and run the solution through there. I would suggest letting a small amount of the vinegar/water solution drip out, then cut the machine off for about 20 minutes - allowing the vinegar to thoroughly soak and decalcify the insides. After 20 minutes, let the remaining vinegar/water pour through.
