I have a Timex T311 clock radio. How do I shut off alarm and radio everyday. As I no longer need to wake in the am.

On the Timex T311, to disable the radio alarm, press the Radio Alarm button once. The Radio Alarm Indicator light should go out and the radio alarm won't sound. If you press the Radio Alarm button once more, the radio alarm will toggle to on and that indicator light will come on. Similarly, press the Buzzer Alarm button once to enable the buzzer alarm and press it again to disable the alarm.

See page 9 of the manual to see the directions to toggle these alarms on and off. The manual is available from Timex Audio on the product page: https://timexaudio.com/support/product/T311/ . The direct link to the manual is https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T311IB57574_35.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do I change the time on a Timex T235 Alarm clock - can't find my book

To set the clock on the T235, make sure that the radio is off. If the radio is playing, press and hold the Power/Mode (the left-most button) until the display briefly shows Off and the time is displayed. Press and hold the Clock button (the center button), the display should start flashing. While the display is flashing, press the Tun + (Hour) button, next to the Power/Mode button, to advance the hour to the current hour. Then press the Tun - (Minute) button, between the Tun + and Clock buttons, to advance the time to the correct minutes. Then while the display is flashing, press Clock and hold to exit the time set mode. This will start the clock.

Timex has the manuals for many of their clock radios on the product page or their support page, https://timexaudio.com/support/ . For the T235, the direct link to the manual is https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T235_User_Manual.pdf . See page 6 to find the directions to set this model.

I hope this helps.

Change time zone

To change the time zone press and hold the time zone button until the number after the Z in the display flases and then release the button (number will still be flashing) and then press the same buttoon and you will see the Z number change to the zone you need. The zones are printed on the top of the clock under the top lid that pops up. My problem is we are in daylight savings time and I cannot get the Eastern Time zone to let me "spring ahead one hour" for daylight saving time!

Resetting clock

Press the SET button until you cycle through the alarms and the Colons on the time start to flash. use the right and left arrows from the CD buttons to adjust time; After time is set; press the SET button. Be careful to not fat finger and hit the CD button when pressing the SET buttons. That will turn on the AWFUL NAP timer. That's another headache.

. Stop the Nap alarm Press NAP to start NAP flashing. Press and hold NAP to cancel the nap setting. If this does not work; try again. It seems to take me a time or 2 to get it to work.

Turning daylight saving time OFF

If DST is *already* set to "on" when you reset the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii), my very recent experience is that the time *still gets adjusted back* by one hour.  Now that daylight savings time is over (at least according to the clock's pre-programmed and outdated schedule) I'm hoping that setting the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii) will completely cancel the automatic time changes from now on.  Otherwise, I need to purchase another clock, and it won't be a Timex.
