Yes, but appears to be non-serviceable... and its probably just a 3.2vdc lithium coin battery inside the case yet they decided to make it so you have to buy a replacement every 10+yrs. Crack it open and see (dill off any rivet heads).

SOURCE: I have a leviton 6214 programmable light switch - it lights up inside but it does not turn lights on outside.

Is this a new installation? New installation then wiring might be bad.
Or older installation that has stopped working? Timer might be bad.

The Leviton 6124 is rated for incandescent light bulbs up to 1200 watts, and does not appear to be rated for CFL, but could possibly work with CFL and LED.
Change bulb to incandescent.

Copy following link to identify timer, and correct wiring.

Outside a room there are three light switches. one switch is connected to the only light bulb inside the room. each of these three switched can be either "on" or "off". all start in the "off" position

While standing at the switches (outside the room) turn each switch on until the light is activated. You need not be in the room to see the light operating.

We had a aube timer for years and we changed the outside poll light with a new top somehow when we screwed in the post lamp we hit one of the wires and when i went to turn it on the breaker flipped after...

Aube/Honeywell timers have internal rechargeable battery that powers the display.
Battery is not replaceable. Plus the electronics inside timers are susceptible to power surge.
Without the display, timer cannot be used.
These timers come with standard 1 year limited warranty.

I have a leviton programable timer no.vpt24 Your instructions show two wires in the junction box. I only have one wire.I can join the black to black white to white but no wire to join with red wire

I think you are saying that you have 1 romex-cable entering box.
And that 1 cable has a black, white and bare ground wires.

Here's how to wire Leviton's vpt24 timer.
Timer has Red Black White and Green wires.
Connect White and Green wires to bare ground wire.
Connect Black-timer wire to black wire inside box
Connect Red-timer wire to white wire inside box.
Turn power ON, and try timer.
If timer does not work, then reverse Black-timer and Red-timer.

Here is photo of similar wiring using Intermatic timer

How does levition 6696 switch work?

The Leviton 6696 Anywhere RF(Radio Frequency) lighting control allows you to add an additional (wireless) switch to an existing switched light(s) without having to hard wire it. For example, let's say that you have a bedroom with a switched overhead light. The Leviton 6696 RF receiver would be installed in place of the existing light switch. It will still function and is wired the same as an ordinary switch. The Leviton 6696 Anywhere RF transmitter (after installing the batteries) can then be used anywhere within 50 feet of the receiver (that replaced the existing light switch) to also control the light. You don't have to mount the transmitter if you don't want too. It can be on the night stand, (or carry it with you if you want) so you can turn the light ON and OFF from the bed or wherever.

I have a black and white wire to hook to. leviton has black, blue and white. green also but thats a ground. what do i do with the blue wire? this is a single switch to a gfci then to outside lighting....

The blue wire is the switched hot wire coming from the leviton.
So:
black hot/source to black leviton -- blue leviton to black for light fixture or black "line" on GFI -- all whites connected together.

Charlie

P.S. If the GFI is only powering a light fixture, it is not needed.

Garmin went totlly blank during use.is there a

most Garmin's are powered by external sources which charge the device. the device has a battery internally and is kept charged by such a cable connected to the cigarette lighter socket.

If its a built in Garman then most likely its the fuse.
