I have a husqvarna jade 20 sewing machine. New in 2018. The bobbin winder will not wind, it only beeps. The machine will sew though.

If anyone is still having this issue, try raising the foot. Many frustrated hours later this worked for me and I wanted to wring the neck of the person who forgot to put it in the instructions! Happy sewing!

Raise the foot! Hours of frustration and this fixed the triple beep when trying to wind the bobbin.

SOURCE: Problem with winding thread onto

first you must make sure the winder shaft is turning by moving it to the right a little and see if you can turn it by hand.
If it is turning ok then there is a rubber ring on the other end of the winder shaft and it should come in contact with the drive which turnes it ,if it is worn it might need a new rubber.

SOURCE: Bobbin winding message

Under the top cover, on the right hand side where the bobbin winder is, there is a small switch which is activated when the bobbin is being wound. You will need to remove the cover and reposition the switch (it's located towards the front of the machine) to make it work properly.

SOURCE: Bobbin winder will not spin on sewing machine

If you take the top off you will see a tiny rubber tire that engages the winder to the handwheel. Over time they get really soft are really hard and disintgrate. If you have a local sewing shop take the old one in and get a new one to slip on it takes only a few minutes and cost usually less that $2.00

If your bobbin still has thread on it, remove it by hand and then try to pull the bobbin off the winder.

Just took my Husqvarna Jade 20 machine out of the box. I try to sew and it beeps three times, doesn't sew, and offers no error message. help!!

Nothing in manual for 3 beeps... maybe it thinks the foot control is not attached.

I'm sewing on a husqvarna 1100. After winding a bobbin a tiny black semi-circle flew off. Now the machine refuses to sew...only want to wind bobbins. Is this be something small that I can fix?

Hello Kitty
The 'tiny black semi-circle' sounds like the bobbin winder or a part of it. That 'little' part has to go back onto the bobbin winder, or else the bobbins will over-fill. However, if the bobbin winder (the 'thing' that holds the bobbin in place while winding) is pushed toward the bobbin spindle ... pull it back and the machine will 'let' you sew. But still no winding bobbins. Refer to pages 10 and 11 of your manual, or download it for free from:
http://manuals.husqvarnaviking.com/
The part that came off, should be installed to factory specifications which a qualified technician will be able to instal.
Hopefully this will let you finish what you started.

Please give me a thumbs up if this is helpful.

Designer 2. Why isn't bobbin winder working?

For ~$25 you can buy a stand-alone bobbin winder from the local fabric store (JoAnns or Hancocks) or even online (Amazon.com).

Broken bobbin winder

For $29 at Hancock, Jo Ann's or Wal Mart you can get a thing called a Side Winder that will wind your bobbins without using the winder on your sewing machine. It has the additional advantage that you can wind while sewing. I use it even with machines that will wind bobbins.

Can't put a bobbin on the winder Husqvana Viking 6020

Is this a Designer 1 or a #1? There is no moving lever on the pin of a Deigner 1,they are fixed. If it's a #1, use sewing machine oil or Triflow. NEVER use 3 in 1 oil. It will gum up and cause problems later on.

Bobbin winder is only thing that works

What model are you talking about? For my older Husqvarna machine you had to pull the bobbin winding bit out to wind the bobbin, then push it back in when you were done.
