The motor probably isn't working - I suggest you begin by checking the brushes, which wear out and need replacing periodically.

I'm having a hard time understanding what is happening with my Bosch. Mine is filling and then immediately emptying out. Then the door unlocks but the timer indicates 45 minutes left (or so) and the door lock light is still on. Usually the only cycle that spins now is the spin cycle, but this doesn't help me get the soap out of the clothes still in the drum.

When the machine fills but doesn't rotate, the water level seems low as well. I had a repair man out who thought it might be the door latch sensor needing replacing (honestly, my toddler was pushing that button repeatedly), but I don't think that's it.

What does work: I unplug it for a while. Then if I'm lucky and the laundry Gods are shining down on me, I can wash normally (usually I'm luckier on Permanent Press but I always used to use the Cotton side). However, once I turn the machine "off," that's it all the problems persist so I have to wash it all, one load after another.

SOURCE: Bosch WFL2450 Washing Machine wont spin cycle

Hi there, this problem sounds as though the carbon brushes are needing replaced or infact just needing to be cleaned of dust or dirt. Its very common for the brushes to be covered in dust and fibres. Im not sure where the brushes will be on this model but I hope this helps you in someway.

SOURCE: frigidaire front load washer won't spin, belt looks good, makes noise

Don't have much experience on Frigidaire. Is the motor a brush type, capacitor type or one of those new DC types? If it's got brushes and they are ok, then I would say your armature is up the creek. If it's a capacitor type (unlikely) then the capacitor is most likely duff. If it's the new DC type it could be a lot of things, most likely the module which breaksdown and passes an AC component in the motor supply which make the motor tremble but not rotate

Bosch Axxis WFL2060 stopped working on a wash cycle. The first time I used liquid HE detergent. I am sure I put too much in and the interior foamed up, the detergent tray foamed up and came out underneath...

water in base after overfoaming has leak detection if you can tip machine back this water will run onto floor allowing unit to rest, make sure you put down some rags towel etc to trap water there will be up to a pint of water.

Dryer drum stopped rotating, dryer blower continues to work.

The belt probably broke, and coincidentally happened while drying the shoes. The belt is easy to replace. Open the back and you'll probably see the belt laying on the bottom

WFC 2260 - Machine Fills and empties, but drum doesn't rotate

You probably need to replace the brushes in the motor.
Remove rear panel, remove belt from drum, undo 2 screws securing motor, unplug lead to motor, lever motor back with a screw driver, keeping hold of it, and remove motor.
You will find the brushes located at the opposite end to the motor pulley.
Please leave a fixya rating for my proposed solution.
Thankyou.

2nd Bosch washing machine same problem

Since you faced the same problems with two new machine's, it sound like a manufacturer problem and you should ask for another new washer or to get your money back !!!! Good luck !!!
