How to enter service mode in ir3300 - In Office Equipment & Supplies

E000001-0002 refers to the fuser assy either getting to hot or not hot enough. Fuser error codes cannot be reset by power cycling the machine even though that is what the display tells you to do. In order to reset the fuser error code you must enter the service mode & reset the code. To enter the service mode: press"Additional Functions" button (looks like a picture of a head with a star inside) press the #2 and #8 at the same time (simultaneousley) press "additional functions" again The display should show a choice of copier,feeder,sorter,fax,or board service modes Select copier select clear select ERR press OK Turn power off & back on. ****IMPORTANT**** After clearing error stay at the machine to see if it comes to ready. The fuser assy can reach 139 degrees C.(Water boils @ 100C) The error can only be cleared through the service mode because a technician should inspect the fuser to verify there is nothing faulty that could possibly start a fire. If you enter the service mode & clear the error, power cycle the machine & during warm up the machine throws a code again- turn it off, unplug it & call a tech for fuser repair. Good Luck!! The fuser may need to be replaced. Sometimes that code can be reset in service mode without replacing that part.
Service mode--- Additional functions button, then hold down the 2 & 8 key at the same time, then Additional functions button again gets into the mode. Then select Function, Clear(CLR),Error(ERR) then hit ok and cycle main power. If it resets-great. If not,you need a fuser.

just goto control panel and uninstall any associated software to your device , then reinstall your programs

under COPIER, FUNCTION, CLEAR, PWD-CLR, OK

that is a fuser error. try resetting by entering service mode and clearing errors Additional functions then 2 & 8 at same time then additional functions again to enter service.

If the fuser is ok then reset the error code in service mode.

You do this by entering in service mode and select
Press the key face key, ‘2’ and ‘8’ at the
same time, and the face key once again. then
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.

Just entering service mode by pressing add. function, 2 & 8 and add. function, touch copier option, then function, then clear and touch ok button. your problem will resolved. if error again come then you need to replace fixing film assambly.
