SOURCE: 04 Escalade w / Valet Starter, all works but door locks
Hello 7suds,
Well, I'd go back and tell them about the doorlock problem. I know that 2 years is a little late to start complaining, but it's most likely a really easy fix.
The most probably causes are that the power doorlock output was either not programmed, programmed incorrectly, or it's not connected or improperly connected to the vehicle servos. Have the installer check the programming, especially the doorlock pulse duration. It's also possible that the remote is simply not sending the doorlock signal. Could just be a bad button. Have them switch the doorlock function to the right "AUX" button temporarily and see if that works. But in any case, the system needs to be tested to find out exactly what is causing the doorlock failure.
Hope this helps.

only one thing to say here and that is ,---but you will not like it thats for sure --- take the side cutters from tool box and remove it completely ,they go wrong after a whaile as the microprocessors fail and the olny thing to do is cut it out ..
also check remote start antenna behind rear view mirror
