If the reset does not work after removing power from the dishwasher, then the next thing to try is to press the Start or Reset button to reset the dishwasher. Press for about 10 seconds.

I had the LC code flashing on my Samsung dishwasher and my mom also had the same problem with her Kenmore dishwasher! We tried everything everyone has posted and nothing worked!! Turns out it was an easy fix! Just add jet dry to the jet dry compartment on the inside panel of the door to the dishwasher and it worked!! No more LC code and the dishwasher now works fine!! I thought adding jet dry was an option?? Apparently it is a requirement with these new dishwashers!!
Repair and or check: Check for water leak under the dishwasher. Check the hoses, drain pump and tub. Replace any leaking components.
Parts Needed: Hoses or Drain pump
I am going to show you a video on how to check for these issues as well. This may not be your particular model but it will give you an idea of what you are going to need to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIcQdApm6l0 Samsung Dishwasher LE leakage code FIX
We Are Here to Help !!!
Hello. Straight out of the service manual for your dishwasher...the 5E error comes from the low level switch not being detected within 3 minutes during the drain cycle...possible causes...clogged drain line, broken wire on the drain pump, defective drain pump, bad ECS, bad main board--in that order. Absolutely make sure there isn't something jammed in the drain pump that could slow it down or jam the impeller. Also, those drain brakes can be a real problem with mold/mildew gumming up the inside--once mold grows in these things, you MUST replace it--I've tried the cleaning route--it just comes back. I hope this helps you.
drain pump--DD81-01527A
brake--DD82-01111A
main control board--DD82-01139A
Found the problem, after having this error several times, replacing parts, and even redirecting my drain line...
Read the owner's manual, and it says to use .5 ounces of dishwasher liquid. That is only 1 tablespoon, or 15 milliliters.
There are even lines in the fill box inside the dishwasher, 15 milliliters, and 25 milliliters... 15 milliliters is less that 1/3 capacity, and we were filling it all the way up.
So... The problem was too much soap, leading to too many suds, the air in those suds lowered the density of the water so much it messes with the sensors monitoring flow.
