SOURCE: Maytag Neptune TL Washer

if this worked fine before, then I am only guessing that the water inlet valve has malfunctioned. try filling the machine with a garden hose...any change? if still no go, then be sure to have a shop-vac handy to remove the water you just added.

SOURCE: Error Codes

This error is an EEPROM communication failure of the electronic control board .Basically indicates the washer no longer thinks any more as washer.
Repair requires the board to be replaced. ..But be careful so that you get the right control board.

SOURCE: I get an F09 error

"F09" is an Overflow Condition error. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r805532-f09_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

The first thing to try is to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). In some cases this is all that it takes to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code reappears, follow the guidance I provided you.

This is one of those challenging errors to identify sometimes. Start with the easy possibilities, first. In addition, your washer should have a tech sheet inside to assist in component identification and troubleshooting. You can access the tech sheet by removing the lower panel under the door. If the its not taped to the back of the lower panel, it will be located along the interior wall of the cabinet.

If you have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Keeps saying PAU

The PAU, or pause, error usually means that the washing machine cycle was interrupted and was not restarted properly. If you try to modify the cycle or start a new one before the first cycle is complete, the PAU error will appear on the display. If the washer was stopped midcycle and not restarted, the cycle must be canceled or completed before a new selection can be made. Push "Start/Pause" to allow the current cycle to finish before making a new selection, or push "Cancel" to stop the current cycle

Stuck on pause

You either have a bad control board or a bad communication to the timer of the unit and the timer needs to be replaced. If you do not see an alpha-numeric error code displayed I would contact a professional.

Smeg washing machine stuck on pause

If the machine won't start then it will most likely be the door latch that is at fault.

Hi the pause/start button wont work and checked all connection points and water. Please help

Try this-

1) If soft keys are used, the problem can be in the key.Replace the key pad.

2) If mechanical switch ( push button) is used , power on the washer and short the two ends of the switch by a coated wire. For first short ,the washer should start and for next ,it should pause.

3)If this also does not work, check the wires going from the keypad to the controller.

Kenmore Elite smartwash QuietPak9 F H error code

Press the Pause/Cancel button twice to clear the display then check if water is introduced into the machine. Drain the water from the machine by selecting Drain and Spin then pressing the Start button for one second. Empty the machine after the water is completely drained.

Start a new cycle with Hot/Cold water temperature and check how long before the error code appears after the cycle is started. When the code appears, press the Pause/Cancel button to clear the display then check again if water is introduced into the machine.

The pressure switch is not tripping and must be replaced if the error code appears about 8 minutes after the cycle is started and about 40 liters of water is introduced into the machine.

The flow meter is not working if the error code appears less than a minute after the cycle is started and about 3 liters of water is introduced into the machine.

The valve solenoids may not be working or the levers are stuck if the error code appears less than a minute after the cycle is started and no water is introduced into the machine.

Let us know which case above is observed for specific troubleshooting and repair guide.

Error Message

Your owner's manual may give a troubleshooting guide for the error code your machine might give you. Is it possible you have locked out the control panel? I "think" the calypso has a control lockout, usually a start button or cancel button. If you press it in for 3-5 seconds, it can lock or unlock panel. If all else fails, try unplugging it and see it it will drain out the water.

My washer had 1 minute left before the spin cycle was complete.

Push and hold the START button for three seconds if you want it to finish off that last minute.

...or...

Push and hold the PAUSE button for three seconds to stop the cycle.

Peace.
