I have the TomTom professional 620 but cant get B Double or Road Train routes only single trailer, can this setting be changed

You can select the type of POI (points of interest) that you want to display on the screen. Touch the screen to show the menu, and look for the icon to change your preferences. When you get to the icon to select the POI to display on your screen, select the POI you want, e.g. hotels, restaurants, gas station, train stations, etc.
After you've selected it, the icons for hotels/restaurants will be shown on the screen map ... if those POIs are included in the data that came with the map.

Look real close for a small hole that might be a reset hole. If so open a paperclip and gently push the reset. You should be able to feel it depress.

Select single route, option then shows navigate too or edit or delete

Hope this helps looks like you haveto pay for map updates after 30 days, but I am not positive.

try uninstalling the home program and then reintalling the home program again....first follow www.tomtom.com/9545 do FULL uninstall
then www.tomtom,.com/5122 to install home program again

Truck routes are not possible....the unit is designed for everyday road to road navigation only...

To get your TomTom to speak street names, you will need to change the voice from a recorded voice to a computer voice. This can be done by: 

• Connect your TomTom to your computer
  
• When the TomTom asks do you want to connect to the computer, choose Yes
• Open the TomTom Home application
• Click on the 'Add Traffic, Voices, Safety Cameras, etc.' button
• Click on the 'Voices' button
• Click on the 'Computer Voices' button

You can now select a voice to install on the device. 
Once you have installed a voice, change it by

• Disconnect the TomTom from your computer
• Turn on the TomTom
• Touch the screen to bring up the menu
• Touch 'Change Preferences'
• Touch 'Voice Preferences'
• Touch 'Change Voice'
• Use the Left / Right arrows to navigate to the voice you just installed (Look for the word 'computer' in the upper right corner by the male/female option)
• Touch the 'Select' button

It's a settable option in preferences or sometimes you can set it when you first select a map. Its a reminder when moving from one country ( where you drive on the right ) to another country ( where you drive on the left ) to keep on the correct side of the road . It will bong if the road deviates a little from the map or more typical is if you deviate from the route . Such as if you left the route to go into a petrol station , it will bong as you rejoin the road to remind you to drive on the correct side of the road.

Mine does the same thing, I think it's because of the settings to "find fastest route". I just ignore what it says and go the way I choose, it recalculates the route and all is well.

Well, cant tell you why, but you should use fastest route as default, not shortest...

Touch the Screen; goto Change Preference, and then Set units; you will be able set a lot of units
