SOURCE: Gigabyte GA-81EXW memory chips

Any 184-pin ddr ram should work on this. You can actually use pc3200 (ddr 400) ram as well. Pc2700 ram is ddr333, and a higher speed ddr ram like pc3200 will work just as well if not better than pc2700, it will simply go down to the speed that the processor requests the ram run at. It's all backwards compatible, faster ram can run slower if the computer needs it to run at the slower speed. Depending on the price you can find as long as you get 184 pin ddr ram either pc2700 or pc3200 with work fine with your motherboard. Peter

SOURCE: gigabyte motherboard connection front panel to motherboard?

Have you reseated them properly? Did you have the power connected still when you took them out and put them back in? If you had power still plugged in you have probably fried the ports.

SOURCE: does Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 support 2 gb of ram

Yes, this mothereboard can actually supports up to 4GIG of RAM , so probably the problem lies on the RAM that you have, If you're using 2 or more piece or ram to this motherboard make sure they are the same brand because sometimes you will have problem like this if the memory are not the same brand...this is the link for the complete specs of the motherboard http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Gigabyte-Gigabyte-GA-945P-S3-945-Core-2-Extreme-Core-2-Duo-1066FSB-LGA775-DDR2-ATX-Motherboard-w-Audio-Gigab

Hope that helps..........

SOURCE: Compatable gigabyte ga 81915pm motherboard

you may not have to format
you should be okay
are you sure power supply is not going
remove cd drive and boot see if you can get to safemode
Are you sure you have'nt had pc opened and maybe loosened a memory
I still don't think it's the motherboard.I would go more for a memory or power supply problem
let me know

HI, i have the gigabyte MB GA-945P-S3- and i saw in GIGABYTE web site that i can go with C2D E8400 but with overclocking and saw awhile ago that there are another problem with the CPU MP in the bios of it...

Only the Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 revision 3.3 does allow C2D E8400 or C2D E7500.
However the C2D E8400 only by overclocking, which certainly is not recommended.

So the Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 mainboard revision 3.3, should work with the C2D E7500
with BIOS version FFd and FSB setting at 1066 MHz.
