As you stated the device works in one slot but not the other , tells you there is problem with that usb port , don't use those ports , best thing to do is purchase a PCI USB card if you need more USB ports .

Update the drivers, and check cables. Looks just a looser cable problem.

Sounds like a CPU incompatibility problem. You need to update the BIOS to the last version with a compatible CPU and try it again.

If is just a USB port, then it could be a driver problem, or that USB hub is turn off, or is a fried/bad USB port. Try another USB device on that port too.

Something is wrong. It could be a problem related to PSU (power supply).

First Replace BIOS battery
Replace main filters (Capacitors)

Hello the usb drive normaly has to be formated in FAT 32 file system, so the tv can see the drive.The film you have downloaded, also has to be in a format the tv can read.Try to read the manual for the tv, to know the details what file the tv supports.Good luck
