I never had a front load washer but I have changed several lid switch. When the door is not closed on a top load washer a switch in the door area will shut the washer down. I did run across this on a search of front load washer..
The door lock secures the washer door shut during operation. Once the washer door is closed, the washer can begin operating. If the door lock is defective, the washer door will not latch properly. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Inspect the door lock for damage. If the door lock is damaged or does not latch properly, replace it. To determine if the door lock has failed electrically, use a multimeter to test each of the door lock switches for continuity. If one of the switches does not have continuity, replace the switch.
I saw in another post sometime the switch is under rubber
but I am just repeating what someone else said. Hope can be of some help.

SOURCE: Washer tub slowly fills with water

Is your problem a SLOW FILL problem, or a problem with WATER DRIPPING FROM THE RUBBER DOOR SEAL - or BOTH? If you have a slow fill problem, this is generally caused by a bad fill valve, which can be attributed to hard water deposits or well water mineral deposits. Sometimes the fill valve can be removed, cleaned and reinstalled, but most of the time a new fill valve is required. If you are experiencing water leaking from the rubber door seal (bellow), it may be time to replace it. Sometimes the seal can develop a wrinkle or crease where it meets the glass, which can cause leaks. Water dripping from the door when you open after washing a load is normal. Water dripping during a load is NOT. The bellow may also have started to rip or tear inside the door which may not be noticeable until you pull the folds of the bellow back and look underneath it. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: front load washer leak

This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed

SOURCE: putting on spring loaded wire seal ring on a bosch washer

You have to make sure that the spring part is towards the bottom of the front. If you look closely at the washer at the bottom you will see a groove. That groove is where that spring will need to end up otherwise the whole thing will keep poping off.

how I install is I use a 90 degree pick tool. I work the edge of the seal with the metal ring and making sure it lines up with the groove. once there is tension on the spring I streatch it with the 90 degree pick tool and continue to work the rest of the gasket around. Once you get that completed I push down on the spring to make sure that it is in there. If it is not it takes one door opening to make it fall all apart and you have to start over.

SOURCE: WFMC 3200 Front Load Washer: how do i unlock door? bosch washer was just deliv...

Hi, welcome to fixya. The emergency latch release is behind the small round panel below the main tub door. **Unplug the washer or turn off the breaker before attempting any suggestion given here please** To open the access door ( small round panel ) you'll require a small round needle shaped object or really narrow screwdriver. Put it in the small hole in the panel push in slightly and turn to about 6 o'clock...clockwise that is The small round cover should now come off and expose the pump with the string going through a hook on the pump housing. Be very careful as the edges are very sharp. A string will be threaded through the pump housing and you just need to pull it to open the main door. Let me know how you make out and also if you require further assistance with this problem. If you don't require further assistance and this indeed was helpful to you, please allow a moment to rate this solution I've given accordingly. Thank you for visiting "fixya" today and good luck. The door will not open on my Bosch washing machine?

Hi, welcome to fixya.

If your washer is indeed a WFL2060, this is how to first get any water out which will prevent the door from opening, then manually allowing the door to open.

**Unplug the washer from the dryer or wall, or turn off the 30amp breaker at the home service panel...safety first**

1) Open the small square plastic door at the right bottom of the washer. You will see a small red loop with a string. That is for manually opening the door if you pull it...but you'll want to drain the water out first, so...

2) Via the small hose drain any access water from the pump...this is where a wet/dry shop-vac comes in handy, or a shallow pan with a few towels works as well.

3) Then turn the pump insert/button trap counter clock-wise and pull out. Clean the trap out thoroughly running it under hot water and mild soap or your washer detergent and inspect inside the pump for any other foreign objects/obstructions.

4) Re-install the lint trap insuring it is good and snug/tight. Before closing up the small access door, run a short rinse spin cycle to check for leaks.

Let me know how you make out, or if you require further assistance.

Washer just stopped, won't do anything, door is locked and I cant get it open its a bosch 900 rpm front load.

you can use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove any water this will also unlock the door the check the drain pump for anything that would be blocking the flow of water

take off the small front cover to the drain pump pull the whit plastic zip tie and this will unloock the door.

Mold on gray rubber seal in Bosch washing machine

I use to sell bosch front loading washers for about 3 years, its a common problem on all front loading washers. Try a hot wash through the machine, if no joy then remove the seal and wash in hot soapy water. Make sure you replace the seal while its still hot from wasing if you take it off.
If still no joy, the call a service person and replace the seal. Its just one of those things.

There is a small hole near the door. Put a small screwdriver blade in the hole, push in just a little, and you can rotate the door clockwise, the door will come out and you can get to the problem. When the water is drained in machine the door is open able.

Immediately facing you is a black connector, about 4 inches (10cm) in diameter. When you unscrew this, all the water left in the washer will spill out onto the floor. Use a plastic bag to catch this or a small pan.(later models have a drain hose?) The black connector unscrews counterclockwise, and takes quite a few turns. Once you have it out, you'll find the source of your clog. Remove it, clean out, screw the black connector back in. You can check with rinse, if you want to make sure there are no leaks. Put the door back on and rotate.
