Press the button on the receiver and then on the mouse. Hopefully that will do it.

Also recheck to see if the batteries are good as some have a syhort shelf life.

SOURCE: Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse Model 1023

My green light on the receiver is ON. The mouse battery is new. The red LASER switches with movement. I read all of the posts, than I pulled apart the receiver and the wires were OK. There is a micro-switch in the receiver, so I pushed it when plugged in to the computer. The green light flashes, then I pushed the button on the bottom of the mouse, it connects. To make short of this, do not open the receiver case, just use a pen and push the green "connect" light (must be in USB port), it will activate reset switch and blink. Next, push "connect" on the bottom of mouse.

SOURCE: My microsoft model no 3000 wireless notebook is not working.

I suggest to put a new battery in it's compartment and simultaneously to press down and release the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed at the bottom of mouse. Prior to this procedure the receiver has to be installed in the USB port. Both actions are to be performed at the same time. Cursor will start moving again.
Good luck!!!

How do I update my wireless mouse?

try updating the mouse drivers. Go to the Verbatim manufacturer website, search your model of mouse and download the latest driver. To update drivers on windows go Control panel>device manager>mice/input device then right click your mouse and update driver software. If the mouse continues to play up even though it works on other computers then the mouse is probably incompatible with your operating system.

Change battery

Turn the mouse upside-down.
Look for some "hatch".
Either it will "slide" to open,
or you can move one end of the hatch to "unlock" it, to let it swing open.

Certain letter keys give me numbers instead of the letter on my verbatim wireless keyboard and mouse

Sounds like NUMlock, or another function key like that. Are those numbers on the keys themselves? That's a common problem for laptop keyboards that do not have number pads.

My iPhone 4 (4.1) doesnt get connect with Mobile Wireless Keyboard? (Mexico)

It looks like the type of keyboard and mouse you are using is not bluetooth. You can't use the iphone 4 with just a wireless keyboard. It has to be a BLUETOOTH keyboard.

The Keyboard/Mouse combo you have from verbatim is most likely using Radio Frequency (RF) like the same frequency a TV remote control would use. Bluetooth is a different type of wireless technology that has to be paired with your iphone for it to work.

Move the wireless adapter (one end connects to the keyboard/mouse ports on your computer) closer to the front of your computer, i.e., closer to where your wireless KB/mouse are located.
