We purchased our Electrolux double wall oven, which has Fault F239 with the bottom oven. It is only 2yrs and 15 days old and I think that Electrolux should fix it without any cost to us.

You probably tripped a safety thermostat in the back of each oven. If you turn off the breaker and find a way to pull the units out you could probably remove the rear panel and reset the thermostat by pushing in a button on the back of the open thermo. Some thermo's aren't resettable though so you'd have to buy a replacement.

SOURCE: top oven doesn't heat.

We had this same problem in our lower oven and found the solution the night before Thanksgiving. With 26 people coming for dinner, I desperately need both ovens. (Turn off the breaker for the oven before you do this.)

My husband took the control panel off of the upper oven and found a wiring diagram. In the text, it said there was a manual reset for each oven in the access panel for each one. He opened the access panel for the lower oven and found the reset button in the middle of that area. He said it was a black circle with a red button in the middle. After reseting, we turned the breaker back on and everything works great!!

If it is a fan assisisted oven and the fan is still working, then you need a new oven element fitting.

The top oven is over-heating with no change in temp display. A red-hot heating element on the left side of the oven (facing it) shows through the floor of the oven.

Good Morning Eileen, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Electrolux double wall oven is having over heating issues. It is possible that this could be a faulty thermostat, control panel, or element. Since it could be anyone of these underlying having a technician out would help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. If you need help locating a technician you can visit your manufacturer's website for additional assistance with locating a technician. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Top part of oven not heating up

Thank you for your post, friend!

Based off what you have described your Electrolux double wall oven is not heating up inside the top portion. It could be a miscommunication within your oven and you can usually perform a reset to clear that out. In order to reset your oven you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If you restore power and continue you having an issue with your oven I would suggest you could have a possible fault with the control panel, thermostat, element, or connectors. Typically, this is not a simple DIY job. You may need to look for assistance with replacing any electrical components and I would highly suggest having a professional technician help with that. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Electrolux oven racks how do they go in oven?

Hi Friend, that's a great question!

I see that your post is listed under Electrolux Wall-Oven. May I have your model number please? You can normally find the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door. With this material I can provide you the correct instructions on how to place the racks in your Electrolux wall-oven. Thank you! - Z

PF code keeps coming on ! This unit is just 2yrs old. purchased 8-08 in a new home. I checked the breaker and it was not tripped. This code has appeared several times in the last two months.

You need to look for a loose wire either in the unit or at the wall connection. It could be as simple as a bad solder connection on the board but it is losing power at some point.
