The HSM Securio B24 is a high-security paper shredder that is designed to shred sensitive documents into extremely small particles to protect against identity theft and other types of data breaches. It is capable of shredding up to 24 sheets of paper at a time and can also shred staples, paper clips, and credit cards.

It's a tedious process to clean it out. Most auto switch shredders use either a tiny little lever or an optical sensor in the paper feed slot. Usually removing the shred head, picking all the paper out and blasting all the dust out with air will clean it up. Then run a few sheets of paper with shredder lubricant (basically clean mineral oil) to oil the blades and it should be good to go again. Just be careful cleaning that cutting head. I've donated many drops of blood to office equipment over the years.

Blow out the sensors with some compressed air, Using a can of compressed air, look for the sensors that detect the paper and give them a blast or two, then try it, it may take a couple of tries.
This may also be a good time to lubricate the cutting heads, if it is a good machine with metal heads a light oil applied to paper then run through the shredder will pass the oil onto the heads.
A shredder oil or light oil like 3 in 1, these usually have a narrow nozzle to limit the oil flow, draw lines, do a picture or spell your name on the paper with oil and shred it. You have just serviced your shredder.
If it is a less expensive shredder with plastic heads, shredding a couple if sheets of waxed paper will pass the wax onto the cutting heads reducing friction.

Cross-cut shredders need to be "oiled" if used frequently. Use a lightweight grade"20" shredder oil to lubricate the cutting blades.

Common solution is to clean upper and lower sensors with cotton swab. If it still jams, then you will have to remove the top carefully and clean all paper shreds out of the housing. The paper shreds are most likely packed in the housing shroud and jamming or overloading the motor.

I just fixed a similar issue. My AS702MX shredder fell off my desk while I was emptying the basket. When I tried to use it after that it only ran in reverse, not in auto/forward (it was not jammed). This meant that the motor was still working. Since this shredder is so old, no longer under warranty, and not working anyway, I decided to open it up. I unscrewed the 5 screws on the bottom (that's all), then the plastic covering opened up. While looking at the shredder from the top (without the plastic cover) you will see a small black plastic trigger mechanism in the middle (this is what the paper hits to start the shred) this piece will push a copper filament onto the motor to complete the "auto" circuit. Well the fall had caused the plastic trigger to dislodge on one side... I popped it back into place and closed it up, and its working fine now. It was really simple to fix.

Your cutters have spread apart this could be caused by overloading machine to many times or something may have cracked internally that held them in place.

Shredder drive gear is probably shredded - hard part to find or replace usually. Could mean a new shredder;-(
