Cant download sonicstage...

Was having problems with sonicstage and after many hours of attwmting to rectify issues it kept throwing at me, I just uninstalled it.
My mp3 player has since been reset-bloody kid siblings. So I guess i need to connect it to sonic stage agin- however no matter what i do when i try to download it the message=

data was unable to be retrieved from the server. Please check internet connection and try again. (21000)

there is absolutely no problem with my connection, no matter how much I try I always get this problem : (

Any ideas would be much appreciated : )

The NWE503 Walkma player is compatible only with the ATRAC3/ATRAC3+ and MP3 songs. These songs format will work only when transferred through the supplied SonicStage Software.You can download the latest version of the SonicStage Software from here
Transferring the songs using the SonicStage Software will resolve the issue.

Hi,
This seems to be an error message when the database of the SonicStage Software has been changed. I suggest you to backup all the Songs in the Player and update the Software. Make sure that the SonicStage Backup Tool is used for creating a backup disc. Then, uninstall the SonicStage Software and install the latest version of the SonicStage Software(ver 4.3). Before installing the Software install the SonicStage Security update and then the SonicStage Software version 4.3 for Windows Vista.
After installing the Software the issue will get resolved.

you cant play videos on mp3 players.if its an mp4 player then u need to change the video format to mp4

Delete sonicstage and re download it
just delete the Icon

Try downloading the newest version of SonicStage from the website.
Select your Model and click the blue button.
That one supports Vista.

Transfer songs to your player only with SonicStage. If you did with other software, format the player from the menu and transfer songs from SonicStage. Sonicstage can be downloaded here under SonicStage. Make sure you install the security update after installing the software...

Format Error
I hade just that prob. "format error" used to display. I did this:
1. dwl sonicStage (free)
2.- in the walkman went to menu/initialize/format
then displayed a confirmation screen, I confirmed
it displayed "formating...... COMPLETE"
3.- THEN plugged into the PC and transfered songs with Sonic
and it worked!

Arrghh, hehe that's the SonicStage software problem, I would suggest you to use Driver & MP3 File Manager Ver.2.0http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/downloads/downloads.asp?l=en&ct=NWF&f=MP3FM20 It's much simpler and easyer tool to use. But if you still want to use SonicStage get a new version off the Sony site http://musicstore.connect.com/custom/promos/non_ie.html?checkBos=false New version is 4.3, hope it resolves the problems. if not just in case here is my icq 24083314. good luck

My sony mp3 player has a problem
try switching the songs to a different type. If you have a cd burner you could burn them onto a a cd to change the type but it is a waste of cd's.
