Suddenly I have double images the bottom 2 inches of the screen they are accompanied with wavy lines but function with all activities as normal, what can cause this?

go to settings you are set on 3 D.

Try changing the TV's display format from widescreen to fullscreen.

Do you have any larger speakers close to you tv. Or any magnets been neer it. If you unplug it for a while the tv should have remove the rainbow
