I moved into a house with a Bosch dishwasher but no user manual.Model SHX46A02UC/23. The name of the cycles on the 5 black keys are worn off. I'd like to know what the cycles are left to right.

Unfortunately there is no service manual for this unit. There is only the manual, and a Data Sheet. The parts diagram might be useful

Based on your description, " dishwasher is continually letting in water from water supply, even when unit is turned off "... and to answer your question, the issue is likely with the inlet/water valve.

**To remedy this you will need to replace the valve, not surprising for Bosch unfortunately**

This is what to look for..i.e.



As long as your model number is indeed correct, this info below will be accurate.

Original part is # 425458. It usually retails for about $20 - $30USD at places such as "searspartsdirect.com" "repairclinic.com" to name a couple.

**Before attempting to repair the unit please turn off the power and the water supply to the dishwasher...safety first**


If you remove the lower kick plate/toe panel, you will see the inlet valve to your left...

i.e.



Replacing it or to check for debris in the filter/screen at the inlet is pretty straight forward. Here`s how...

1) undo the water line. ( here you can visually inspect the screen in the valve...if nothing noted, you'll likely need to replace it as follows )

2) Remove the two #20 torx screws fastening it in place.



3) the feed tube to the machine at the back of the valve and swap it with the new one.

Once the new one is in you should be good to go.

Are you using drying agent?If not you have to use it in bosch dishwashers.When the cycle is completed is it hot,steam rolls out.if not you have a heater problem or thermostat problem.

it is likely a control module issue. I will take mine apart this weekend to verify what others have said: solder joint on circuitboard burns out from possible overheating, and DW doesnt go into rinse cycle. Try rinse and hold cycle to see if it stops on its own. mine does, but the other cycles which require the rinse to go to 156 degrees do not; the continue to run until I cancel and drain.

sounds as tho you have a foreign object stuck in the drain pump. only solution is to remove drain pump and check
