try to click the right box and click the boy to the left side...rate and comment then download..

To get HD reception one needs to use a decoder and then the signal OUT from the decoder goes by cable to the TV set, that is now used essentially as a monitor.
however if you have a fault use the service manual's troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

I belive it is a convergance problem. If there is a auto convergance function in the setup menu try it out. If that doesn't work I would clean the lenses with qtips and alcohol.

Mitsubishi Parts Dept. still had stock on an owner's manual for the HD-6000. I ordered one -- although the price was quite high. (Unfortunately, Mitsubishi no longer offered this manual for free download.)

Check your manual, I have the same set and you need a
WD 5000 HD upgrade panel, I believe.
This TV is HD upgradeable, it is NOT HD ready, like you have
been told by other responder......

You need an HD Tuner box to pick up the over-the-air HD channels. This TV is only HD ready. Regarding your cable company's cable box, as long as it has an HD tuner, it will be able to transmit HD channels to this TV.

I have a sr605 Onkyo receiver and just hooked it up to a new Mitsubishi 73" and I could not get the picture to work, sound did though. Here is the problem the Onkyo is HDMI 1.3 but TV calls for HDMI 1.3a. There is a big difference between the 2 and the Onkyo will not work with TV. The newer model TV'S say in the manual Category 2 V 1.3a. You need to make sure that all your parts are compatable. It makes a big difference.
