Issue started 6 months ago. TV has always been connected to a good surge/filter protector. It has shut off a few minutes into operating and then come back on. Is has also shut off a few minutes into operation and stayed off, until unplugged for awhile. Is has shut off as soon as it was turned on and will not turn back on until unplugged for awhile. Have always got it to work again, it is currently working now. Issue happen every couple of weeks. All Voltages at the test points are correct to the voltage label. All capacitors look perfect. All other components look perfect. Some buzzing from the X-board inductors (I believe, don't want my ear to close...). Disconnecting the Y-board from the X-board during cycling does not fix issue. Disconnecting X-board from Power board during cycling does fix issue. Is issue more likely the Power Board or the X-board? Are there any components I could replace on either board which I should try first before replacing a Board itself? Any other test points or tests in general which should be done first before replacing components or boards? Thank you

you might want to call Samsung as if picture flickering especially on scene changes etc several models have a issue where a jumper needs to be removed on the power board that causes this==I think your model is one of them--a little design flaw.

you will need to check weather the 24vdc supply for the inverter board is good no drop voltage. if no supply check the power supply board. then you should check if their is a inv_on signal at the power inverter board around 3v-4.4vdc . if goes out during power on tried to disconnect the supply going to the inverter board to ensure if their is a shorted parts in the inverter board. if the inverter_on signal also goes out even with out inverter board connected that was mean you have problem in the processor board.

Have you tried replacing the power cord or the voltage feed may be off replacing the whole cord should correct that
Testimonial: "If all the voltages are correct except the one on the VE, how can changing the power cord make a difference? The VA and VS on the power board are perfect."
You will need to replace the battery

Fault at its main digital board again. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.
Just replace its SMPS board [Power supply board] too along with the main board. A faulty power supply board will make the main digital board too bad.
Testimonial: "I replaced the power supply board the last time I replaced the main board. Same thing happened after a month. I'm wondering if there is some faulty wiring or something in the tv itself causing the boards to short."
