I am connected from the optical audio output of tv to a Fosom, Digital to Analog audio converter, and then by 2 rca to tv/vcr in. Is there a solution to this problem? DVD audio sound great esp with surround sound. I also have an SA-EX900. Would this work better or another converter or anything else. Thanks, Steve
Suggest connecting via the headphones jack or if available the RCA audio output jacks. If you connect via the headphone jack you will need to adjust the TV volume to a lower setting to avoid distortion/./ The The problem is that the optical output connection is a digital connection and depending on the digital format the Digital to Analog converter may not be a configuration that the audio stream to the stereo required for the tv/vcr in.
How does the audio sound using the Samsung Smart TV internal speakers>
Also under menus/audio/settings you may need to change the Optical output to stereo.
Netflix also has settings that will change the audio stream.
Hope This helps?
