Samsung LN-T1953h audio not working correctly

I have had my Samsung LN-T1953h for a little over 2 years and now i have a problem. Everytime the tv is turned off and turned on, the speakers plugged in on the back of the tv through the headphone jack simply do not produce any sound. the sound will only come through the tv's built in speakers. if i unplug the speakers in the back and plug them back in, the problem is fixed until the next time i turn off the tv and turn it on. ive called samsung and they werent any help at all. i hope someone knows how to fix this.

It sounds like the headphone jack may be going bad. I do not know how to replace it, but if you can find BN94-01208C fits LNT1953HX all you have to do is swap out the main pcb with the new and you have a working tv agin.

How to remove the back panel from a samsung lcd tv ln-t1953h

One of two general answers----look to see if screws all around the back of the set--if so set must be safely laid face down(no pressure on screens) and base removed first then the screws. Also some sets in addition have tabs around the back cover that snap the back on---use a thin metal putty knife and probe to snap them loose----left to right etc.

When i turn on tv with head phone plug , it's does'nt work, i need to unplug the head phone and plug againt, how can i start tv with head phone on.. thanks

Go into your sound settings in your menu and tell it to audio output to headphones. The reason it does that is because headphones are not set as a default so they only work when plugged in after its on and recognized.

Is the serial number for a Samaung LN-T1953H posted anywhere in the Owner's Manual

No. However, it is usually in two locations on the TV. The first is on the rear label. The second is on a sticker located just around the right side and lower down on the set.

It sounds like the main board has gone out. The only audio components are the main board, wiring and speakers. Since audio is missing from external speakers as well, that tells you that the main board is at fault. The cost of the board could be from $150.00 to almost $300.00 depending on the version # of your unit and dealer mark up. You can call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center.

LCD TV

There is more than two screws holding the back cover on. I think it is more like 4 to 6. After you have removed all the screws you will nee a flat screw driver to help pry the two halves apart. Be careful the front of the cover has little snaps that help hold the two together.
