Make sure it shows up in your file explorer, but then go into "Autoplay" options and have it do the default options you want. Be aware that if a pin isn't making good contact, it won't allow access to the device.

Go into computer management and select storage management.

Look in the right hand pane to see if your USB drive is there and right click on it to give it a drive letter.

I connected a USB to the service port on the back of my Hiteker t.v it scrambled the screen now it won't power on.

'USB' is a socket designation, nothing more, so a USB connected what?.

If it was a USB Memory stick, it may have had a root virus hiding on it.

If it was a USB to a computer, it may not have liked the 5 volts supply in it.

run a virus scan on the device (from a good licensed antivirus company and a windows machine recommended) then later go to folder options and untick 'hide hidden items' and 'hide system extensions' options (basically untick all options related to hidden files and folders and say yes when prompted). your data is there do not format.

If youre lucky, your files are only hidden.

In windows explorer (my computer), go to tools, then folder options. In the "view" tab;

- click 'show hidden files and folders'

unclick "hide extensions...' and 'hide protection...'

Your MP3 player is virused. clean virus then and in your pc done : tools-Folder option -view-(mark)show hidden files.. and (unmark) hide extension ... , hide protected... so change hidden folders in your MP3 player
