How do I set up my personal message for my answering service?

I want to be able to leave my own personal message voice mail service so that anyone calling into my phone hears my voice not an automated voice response. Am I able to do this on this Vtech model???

SOURCE: set up voice mail

Feature 14 comes to mind. It's the VM Transfer button for a Partner Voice Mail.

You set it up by dialing FEAT 00 press the button and dial FEAT 14. End programming by dialing FEAT 00.

To use it, when a call comes in press the VMXFR button and dial or press the person's DSS button.

SOURCE: Our caller at time will

The problem in question is not a generic one as it is a first to me. Personally i think the problem is from the phone company and not the handsets. To determine if it is the GE handsets i would advise you disconnect your 2 handsets and try with the previously disconnected phones. If the problem persists the the problem is with the phones but if otherwise then the problem is from the phone company.
If it is the phones all that needs to be done is reset the settings to remove any barring that may have been on the unit.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

I have a model # CS6429-4 VTech digital answering system. The phone will not accept messages saying messages for Beth (me) is full and do I want to leave messages for another caller.

I believe you are reaching a Voice Mail system (VMail) from your service provider instead of the VTech answering machine.

Suggest you contact the same person who helped you with VMail to setup the VTech to answer the line before the VMail system.

Hint; Whose voice is it that says "Beth"?

How do I set up voice mail for my uniden 6.0 without answering system

If you do not have an answering system (answering machine) on the phone, you need to purchase a answering machine or contact your telephone service provider to get Voice Mail service from them. (Most charge $3-5 per month for voice mail.) The provider will tell you what number to call to set up a voice mail message and access messages.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(for most Uniden systems with the answering system, you need to turn it on and then access the system from the handset to set the out-going message and length of incoming messages allowed.)

How to leave a voicemial message

There are three elements to voice mail; having a Panasonic brand voice mail system, recording the greetings, and setting call forward conditions. Which ones have you done?

The default access to voice mail is extension 500 on the intercom, but we used to use 165. When you dial it, the lady says "welcome to the Panasonic voice processing system". If she doesn't or you're asked for a password, or you have not done the tutorial, then you need to do that and it guides you to the setup of the greetings, name, and password change. After that, you dial *710x 500 (or your VM access) # on the inercom to set call forward to voice mail, with 4 being no answer (my preference since it gives me the option of answering the 2nd call or letting it fall to voice mail), or 5 for Busy/No Answer.

The message manager (mailbox 998) and the system owner (mailbox 999) has the ability to access and change how the voice mail system performs. The owner can change your name for the directory or reset your password and/or
setup or delete your mailbox.

NEED TO SET UP MY VOICE MAIL

Hi,If your account is enabled for voice mail, you can receive voice messages in your Inbox and also in a text message on your mobile phone. Both the message in your Inbox and the text message will include a preview of the voice message in text.
How do I set up voice mail?

1. Go to https://outlook.com to sign in to your mailbox, go to Options > Voice Mail tab, and then click Set Up Now.
2. When you set up your voice mail:
* You'll register your mobile phone number.
* Text messaging is set up. You can choose to be notified in a text message that you have voice mail or have missed a call.
* Call forwarding is set up so that your mobile provider forwards calls you receive to your voice mail. So if you don't answer your phone, your phone is busy, or you're unreachable or unavailable, the caller will be sent to your voice mail. After your personal greeting is played, the caller can leave a voice message for you.
* You can test whether your voice mail has been set up correctly by dialing your mobile phone number from your mobile phone. This verifies that call forwarding is correctly set up with your mobile provider.

How do I change my voice mail after I've set it up?

After you've finished setting up voice mail, you may want to:

* Change the mobile provider's voice mail number so you can use the key your provider has reserved for accessing voice mail to access your voice mail. For details about how to do this, see Changing the Number You Call to Access Your Voice Mail.
* Create a contact on your mobile phone. For details about how to do this, see Create a Contact for Voice Mail.
* Assign a speed dial key to the contact you create for Outlook Web App voice mail. For details about how to do this, see Set Up Speed Dialing for Voice Mail.

What else do I need to know?

* The voice mail service is available only to certain customers in certain regions. If you can use voice mail, you'll see a welcome message in your Inbox telling you how to set up voice mail for your account.

We have around 10 x Panasonic KX-T7630 Corded Phone system - we want to know if this phone has an auto answer function where you can have a pre recorded message that gives you the option to be transferred...

It is either part of an Enhanced Simplified Voice Mail System (not recommended) or a TVA-50/200 external VM system. The TVA is more flexible, has more storage, can send voice mails to email, and costs about 2x an ESVM. Check with your Panasonic dealer.

How do access my panasonic kx-tga101s voicmail ?

First of all; Do you have the user guide manual? If not you can download it for free at...www.static.tigerdirect.com/pdf/panasonic_kxtg10325_manual.pdf

This manual addresses handset kx-tga 101s.

The unit lets you know when you have new voice mail, in the following ways; "new voice mail" is displayed on the handset; The message indicator, on the handset, flashes slowly if message alert is on. In order to listen to your voice mail messages, you must dial the telephone service providers voice mail access number. If the handset still indicates messages that have been listened to turn it off by pressing and holding "CLEAR" until handset beeps.

Do you subscribe to a service package that includes voice mail? If so, to use that service turn off the answering machine; And use the instructions provided by your service provider. If you want to use the answering system, call your service provider to deactivate your voice mail service. If service provider cannot do this then set the answering system "RING COUNT" so the system answers calls before voice mail. Check with your service provider to find out what the ring count of the voice mail service is , then make the answering system ring count so it answers first.

Let me know if this answered your question.

AT T 984

I was told by an AT&T rep that the auto attendant can forward calls to another 984 phone to leave messages for that person. Your original OGM (out going message) on the designated Auto Attendant phone should state greeting and the names and the extensions. The caller presses the buttons for the person they want to reach and their call is forwarded to that extension. That extension, if unattended, will have an OGM telling the calling who they have reached and to leave a message. This feature can only transfer calls to other 984 phones only.

Voice mail recording for my new panasonic digital phone

For voice mail service subscribers
If you subscribe to a flat-rate service
package that includes Caller ID, call
waiting, voice mail, and unlimited
local/regional/long distance calls, please
note the following:
L To use the voice mail service provided
by your service provider/telephone
company rather than the unit's
answering system, turn off the
answering system (page 30).
L To use this unit's answering system
rather than the voice mail service
provided by your service provider/
telephone company, please contact
your service provider/telephone
company to deactivate your voice mail
service.
If your service provider/telephone
company cannot do this:
- Set this unit's "Ring count"
setting so that this unit's answering
system answers calls before the
voice mail service of your service
provider/telephone company does.
It is necessary to check the number
of rings required to activate the
voice mail service provided by your
service provider/telephone
company before changing this
setting.
- Change the number of rings of the
voice mail service so that the
answering system can answer the
call first. To do so, contact your
service provider/telephone
company.
