go to the mesage tab and click options then search for the option on the sim mesages and when it opens delete all the messages in the sim message box and check whether any messages in the outbox
If you aren't getting any texts and your friend is getting a message that your inbox is full, it likely is. Try deleting some old texts and have someone send you a text as a test. If it comes through, your inbox was full and you just needed to clean it out some.
Go your message setting. There is option where you'll save your message and choose save to memory card. Delete all message in inbox and outbox folder, delete all cache in your browser and close all active applications. Try to send text message. If the notification "Memory full" still appear you must uninstall a one or more application (not just close it but uninstall it) to make some space in your phone memory. Choose application that you don't use the most. If the problem persist, format your phone back to factory setting.
total SMS memory is 500 ie 200 for inbox , 200 for sentbox, 50 outbox and 50 for drafts. your my folder SMS's are still considering in inbox. that should not be more than 200.
Does it show signal bars on the screen and are you able to make/receive
calls? If not then that is why. AT&T does not guarantee in building
service. If you do have signal and it is working other than text, then
check your message center number in the device:
From the standby screen, press Menu.
Press Messaging.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Text Message.
Enter appropriate Message Center Number, then press Done. The message
center number that should be there is +13123149810 (and the + sign does
need to be in front of it)
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, click on an app in the list, click on Force Stop, click on Clear Data, you will receive a warning, proceed anyway. Repeat these steps for each app, then reboot the phone. Worked for me.
