My computer shows portugese language all the time,and I want to revert to English as it was in the first place.How do I change the language permanently?

Log on to your Facebook account. On the right you'll see the 2014 Facebook copyright. Above that is a group of links. Click the first one (Portugues) then click the desired language.
Press and hold the Q.MENU button until the menu comes up, select the wrench icon, then select the talking head icon. You can select English, but Portugese is not an option on this camera.

Turn unit on, hit i agree when prompted. Push tool icon in lower right hand corner. Then press settings icon, scroll down to language, there it have voice, text, and key board, you may be able to hit restore in the bottom right corner or you can set each seperatly. If its in Portugese it will say Deinicoes not settings, and Idioma is language, then texto for text. Restaurar is restore. Sim is yes.
I had a look around on my X1 and I cannot find how to change the language for you. unless you need to reinstall Windows Mobile 6.1 to English. and that could solve it ?
Here are 2 ways of changing that. I changed mine to Portugese once. Had a heck of a time figuring out what the menu said LOL. Both proceses will change it back.
To change the language used for the text on the front panel:
On the front panel, with Menus highlighted, press the OK key.
Scroll to the Printer Setup Menu by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
Press the OK key.
Scroll to Set Front Panel Language by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
Press the OK key.
Scroll to the desired language by pressing the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key.
Press the OK key to save the selected setting
This is how you change it via your computer.
Open a web browser on your pc.
Type the IP address of the printer into the address area and press return.
Select the Properties tab when the page is done loading.
Look in the left hand column for the + General folder.
Click on the + one time to open the folder.
Under the general folder you will see a subfolder named Printer Defaults.
Click on the Printer Defaults folder one time and you will see a new column open on the right side of the page named Printer Defaults.
In the first box, User Preferences, you will see a header for; Set front panel language with the default setting.
Click on the down arrow and a list of different languages will open.
Select the desired language.
Scroll down the page and under the last box you will see two tabs named Save Changes and Discard Changes.
Select Save Changes one time.
Once you have pressed Save Changes you should get a box that opens up and states; Request Acknowledged; No errors were reported.
Look at the front panel of the printer and the language should be changed to the language you selected above.
