Reset ecu on Nissan hardbody 2006 model.stoped it at home, now wont start.maybe for second or two.Nats light not working on dash. keys still opening doors, enjin turning, does not start.enjin check light

Give this a try.....Timing is not as critical with this method...no stop watch needed. Just count in your head...one-one thousand, two-one thounsand, etc, or usestop watch. The most critical step is step #3....wait 10 sec, instead of 7.

1. Ignition "ON", count to 3.

2. Depress/Release pedal 5 times...hard and fast.

3. Count to 10 (not 7!) and fully depress pedal

4. Count to 12 (SES should be blinking), release pedal

5. Count to 10, depress pedal

6. Count to 10, release pedal.

7. Turn off ignition, then 81377951893%26mt_id%3D570%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fitm%252Flike%252F181377951893%26mid%3D446528%26sdc_id%3D%7Bsdc_id%7D&DealName=12v%20Electric%20Push%20To%20Start%20Engine%20Ignition%20Button%20With%20Red%20Led%20Light%20Up&MerchantID=446528&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=0&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=150102050536&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=19.99&SKU=181377951893">start engine. How do I get the pedometer to work on this unit?

Hold the pwr button for over 2 secs. to change modes. Tap to stop on first rt. arrow. (R resets to zero)--otherwise, tap to start and note blue arrow under "reset arrow). Start walking. Often it appears not to work but be patient. It will add all steps and/or jerks. When display goes blank, hit pwr. button momentarily for total "steps." It may be two steps off your count at times, but that matters not..

Precor efx 5.17 which intermittantly stops counting strides and freezes the display

please follow this steps:
Step 1

Remove the bolts or screws securing the console to the upright assembly. Lift the console and confirm that the cable connections are secure. Remove the cover from the console's battery bay and install a fresh set of batteries. Replace the battery cover.
Step 2

Detach the ends of the pedals from the crank axles. Remove the left and right disc shields and side shields. Inspect the interior of the base unit and locate the flywheel.
Step 3

Inspect the flywheel as it turns. Locate the magnet installed on the flywheel. Turn the flywheel until the magnet passes in front of the nearby reed switch. Loosen the screw securing the switch in place. Rotate the switch to reduce the gap between it and the magnet. Tighten the screw.

God bless you

Cannot get computer on bike to work. Display is ok but will not count down time or count speed or calories burnt

A low battery voltage can cause that as can a break in the lead from the flywheel sensor as it will not start the timer.
Check the batteries and then the leads.

Lost instruction and can't work how to get calorie count to start

In my tips and tricks page is a link to get a new manual.

If you have all of your settings correct for you (ht, wt, etc.) then all you should need to get a calorie count is heart rate and starting an exercise set. It has to be on and measuring to provide calories.

It appears my F6 monitor is not keeping accurant time on calories and heart rate. I like the watch but while checking my sitting heart rate is very low. When checking the heart rate on a blood pressure...

First you need to understand that the Polar system is a medical grade device and it is calculating calories based on specific information that you have inputed and heart rate data from your heart.

Most treadmills and other exercise machines use a much simpler counter that is height and weight based to calculate calories and are generally over generous with their numbers.

Depending on the blood pressure machine you are using, the pulse (not heart rate) is coming through the brachial artery, again not quite as accurate as measuring r-r variance from your heart. There is a ton of literature you can read if you are into the accurateness of the system, but I will sum up with saying that you actual calorie expenditure will be closer on the Polar than on most other devices outside of a hospital. As too the heart rate this is also true, so more likely you are getting inaccurate numbers from the other devices.

If you want pinpoint accuracy then you will need to use the Polar RS800 or S810 devices that measure and display true R-R.
