Photos cannot be sent via text.
I am assuming you mean SMS when you refer text.
also assuming photos not MMS.
you should be able to send photo from smart phone using Apps like WhatsApp or Instagram using Wifi.

Can't send pictures through texting

You need to have data available on your phone plan. You may call your customer service number to confirm your phone has data available and active on your phone plan.

Check your service plan, you might not have a data plan that would allow you to do this.

How do I recieve picture messages on my iPhone 4

You have to have a data plan and you can either have an email sent to you or a text message sent to you with the photo as an attachment. Check with your carrier to make sure you have a data plan. You might want to get an unlimited one, Photos take up quite a bit of data. You can send one by right clicking on the photo or menu while viewing the photo and then a menu will appear asking you what you want to do . You can touch SEND or ATTACH to send one. Hope this helps. You may already have a data plan, if you do make sure you set up your email so you can recieve emails on your phone. Good Luck.

Canot send photos via text....get message 8,

Try accessing the web browser. If you are able to load the page, this rules out one possibility. If you are unable to load the web page, contact your service provider (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, whomever) to verify you have a data feature active on your line.

If you were able to load the web page, contact your provider because some type of provisioning is incorrect with your internal MMS settings.

Will not receive pictures

Check with Sprint to see if you have a data plan for MMS. Text plans are different from data plans that support MMS for sending and receiving pictures. Sounds like data is being blocked.

Sending photos to email via Samsung Sync

then it should be as simple as texting: yourname@serviceprovider in the to slot to send...
