Perhaps you must check out wires for speakers and contacts on receiver and speaker.

Testimonial: "Sir I already check speaker cables and all contacts but nothing help me. I tried with different speakers also. And its surprising me because sometimes all popping and crackling sounds gone completely for 1 or 2 hours, and sometimes its starts from a moment of switch on the avr."

Hello Fixya team, I need help!

To set up your home theater system with the equipment you mentioned, follow these steps:
  1. Connect the Onkyo receiver to the NEC TV using an HDMI cable. Make sure the HDMI input on the TV is set to the correct input for the Onkyo receiver.
  2. Connect the Panasonic DVD player to the Onkyo receiver using an HDMI cable.
  3. Connect the Firestick Lite to the Onkyo receiver using an HDMI cable.
  4. Connect the Panasonic speakers to the Onkyo receiver using speaker wires. Make sure you connect the speakers to the correct speaker terminals on the receiver, which are usually labeled with the speaker's position (e.g. front left, front right, center, surround left, surround right).
  5. Configure the Onkyo receiver to use the correct input for each device. For example, set the input to "DVD" when you want to watch a movie on the Panasonic DVD player, or set the input to "Firestick" when you want to watch content on the Firestick Lite.
  6. Configure the audio settings on the Onkyo receiver to use the correct audio format for your content. For example, if you are watching a movie with Dolby Digital surround sound, make sure the receiver is set to decode Dolby Digital audio.
  7. Adjust the volume and other audio settings on the Onkyo receiver as needed to optimize the sound quality.
Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to enjoy surround sound audio from your Panasonic speakers through the Onkyo receiver.

NR626 - no sound

If none of your speakers gives any sound, perhaps you pressed the mute button on the remote control?
Make sure you have a source selected, that will give sound. Choose a low volume, before switching anything. You can destroy your speakers, when switching on with full volume.
If some speakers work, and only the surround does not work. check if you have surround sound as input. If you only feed 2 channels you can't expect to hear more than 2 channels.

I have an Onkyo tx ds777 model and I can only get sound to come out of the front speakers on direct mode. Stereo or any type of surround sound produces no sound at all. I have tried with my mp3 player...

You don't say if all speakers work with the setup procedure. THAT is step 1. Then try FM as it doesn't require any cabling. Then move on to more complex sources like external analog, then digital (and make sure to assign the ports).

PCM is what it's receiving from the DVD player. The player has output bitstream settings, too, maybe even speaker configurations and distances. Read its manual.

I have an ONKYO TX-SR606 receiver and I am trying to listen to FM radio using more than just the center channels. I have gone through the setup screens for the tuner and only Analog choices are available....

Hello,
In reality the correct way to listen to radio or any music source for that matter is in 2 channel stereo. What this means is that the front left and right will play and also the subwoofer. If you absolutely want all your speakers to play while listening to fm, than press the Multi channel button and set it to direct, or any other sound field that you may desire.

How do I connect my bose 901 active equalizer to a onkyo tx-sr506

AV receivers are notoriously incompatable for Bose 901s. The problem is the EQ charges the entire system and could damage the surround processor. Some higher end AV receivers, including some of the newer Onkyo models have pre out power in inputs on main or all seven channels.which you could install your EQ directly between pre amp & power amp without damaging processor. You can also add a two-channel amplifier to the pre out jacks front channels and use your recever's remote to control volume.
