Need codes to run remote as aux - Samsung HT-D4500 Blu-Ray Home Theatre System - 5.1 Channel, 1000 Watts

I programmed a Radio Shack 5-in-one remote to my Apex DT-250. Select cabel/satelite, hold p until the light blinks twice, then enter the code 0749. It works! If your universal remote uses a three digit code, use 749. If it uses a five digit code, use 00749. I HAVE A PROBLEM THOUGH... I don't know how to scan for channels! It says "please do auto channel search", but how do I do that? Please, if anyone has this answer, let me know. I finally programmed the universal remote, but it's basically useless without being able to do an auto channel search.

2. Press and release the TV, VCR or Cable button. If programming an AUX position, press and release AUX first and then press the device type to be programmed.
3. Enter the 3-digit code number.

5. With the device on, press another button to test (volume control/power button).If it does not work, repeat steps 1 to 5 with other codes which you have.

Here is what I did for my Bose Solo Tv to work on the Bell 9242 receiver.( see page 17 of Bell 9242 guide) 1. Hold down the aux button until all lights flash. 2. Press 2 to ensure Aux is set to audio. 3.Enter code 761 and press the pound (#) button. Now to have the satellite remote default volume to Bose Solo do the following. 1.Press and hold AUX 2.press # pound 3. Press the + side of volume 4. Press 0 5. Press pound ( AUX button will flash 3 times) 6. Press SAT mode 7. Test the volume on Bose Solo. (see page 22 of Bell 9242 guide)

Try this search method to find the code for your receiver.
1) Turn on the power to the receiver.
2) Press the AUX button on the top of the remote.
3) Press and hold the SETUP button until the AUX button flashes twice.
4) Press the numbers 9 9 1
5) Aim the remote at the receiver and slowly alternate pressing the POWER and AUX buttons.
6) Once the power on the receiver turns off you have found the code for your device. Now press the setup key and the AUX light should flash twice and this will lock in the code.

Sorry but tried all the codes above in Bell remote. Non of them work the fx900w.

30176 is the code you need . Press Aux and then hold setup until Aux lights up. Enter code. If you want the remote to control the receiver all the time, press Aux and then hold setup until Aux lights up. Enter 993 then press Aux. Aux will flash, now press Cbl and Aux should light up when you use the volume.
