The fuse for the microwave is usually located inside the unit near the power supply of the microwave. This usually requires a service technician to replace because of the dangerous high voltages present even if the microwave is unplugged. The service technician will remove the screws, then remove the cover to access the fuse near the microwave power supply.

Kichenaid khhs179ll1 fuse

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

You can view a YouTube video showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

My jvm 1861 oven does not power on at all. how do i disassemble the control panel to replace the fuse

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range grille and control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

The fuse should be accessible after removing only the grille, with no need to remove the controller.

According to a similar model's service manual:

"The fuse is located on the upper duct mounted to the Noise filter.
1. Disconnect power and remove grille.
2. Replace the fuse."

You can find handy exploded views and order parts by model number
here.

Trying to change a fuse on microwave.

It may be the fuse or the thermal cutout / thermostat associated with the magnetron.

You say you have the service manual? If you mean the folded-up "mini-manual" that should show the relative locations of the parts in a perspective view.

Also, you can find exploded views at the Sears parts site.

Looking at the "interior parts ii" exploded view here, it shows the fuse (drawing reference # 5001) on the small RF noise filter board located on top of the air duct assembly.

You'll need to remove the oven from the wall to get to it for testing & replacement.

The installation instructions are handy to pull the oven from the wall.

If you've misplaced yours, the Sears site may have them free.

You can just enter your full model number at the Sears parts site.

On the resulting page, look to the right for the blue "View manuals" button. Click there.

That Sears-related site has many free manuals. While the manuals they list there are all free, they may ask you to register.

Many times, the owner's manual will have the installation instructions inside.

If yours is not listed there for free, you would have to order it through the
Sears parts site.

Sharp R-9H84B Microwave Oven was working normally

There should be an oven thermal cutout (part # RTHM-A048WRE0) on top of the oven chassis / cooking cavity. It will be on the left side top.

Also, there is a 150 degrees C magnetron temperature fuse (part # QFS-TA013WRE0) mounted on the side of the magnetron.

Lastly, there is a line fuse, probably located on the door switch mount between the switches.

All of these should read "closed" or virtually zero ohms.

The fuse and magnetron temperature fuse may be available at local appliance parts stores, but you can order parts from Encompass here or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

The part numbers above end in zero, not "oh".

Let me know if you need more help. Otherwise...

Fuse location on wall mounted Whirlpool MH7140XFQ

The fuse is in a holder located behind the control panel assembly.

At our site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

There should also be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

If you don't find yours, you can download it here.

If the oven is dead, it may also be a bad magnetron thermostat or oven cavity thermostat.

The first one can probably be accessed through the opening behind the control panel, but the oven cavity thermostat cam only be accessed by removing the oven from the wall, then removing the outer cover.

You can also find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.

Need to replace Thermostat or Thermal fuse

GE calls them TCOs or thermal cutouts.

There are three in this model and they can all be ordered here.

The reference numbers relate to the drawing here.

59 WB27X10195 TCO -CAVITY

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing. It usually shows relative component layout.
