I recommend to choose a new paint sprayer Wagner Flexio 2000 or 3000. Wagner Flexio 2000 features a new nozzle iSpray design consisting of a two-speed sprayer (hi and lo). While Wagner Flexio 3000 includes a new nozzle iSpray design, the Detail Finish Nozzle, featuring a nine 9 speed settings. Both of the painting solutions have their advantages and disadvantages, more here https://gorillachemical.com/wagner-flexio-2000-vs-3000/.

I haven't much experience with airless sprayers but I have heard the bad language from those who use them.

I expect there is still paint in the business end of the mechanism and an air bubble stuck between that and the new paint fill.

I think the sprayhead will have to be removed or dismantled so the air will be able to escape and allow priming to take place. I suggest spending a little time with the instruction manual.

My titan 400I won't prime what can be wrong with it?

OK, Just solved this problem with my Titan 400 not priming....After searching the internet I got the clue that it was the inlet ball valve being stuck. Most said it was from leaving paint in the system or poor cleaning habits. I thought "Not me, I always do a good job cleaning the sprayer and leaving pump preserver in the system when storing". But I was wrong. After disassembling the inlet valve housing (shown in the manual) I found the valve ball stuck to the seat. After freeing the ball there was tiny bit of paint on the seat but it was enough to prevent it from functioning. Reassembled and it works fine. So maybe just luck of the draw. I don't use the system too often and it had been 6 months since the last use...still I stored it with line full of pump preservative. Symptoms were that when in prime it would not **** from the siphon tube (supply) but motor ran fine. A bit painful fix but not terrible, exercise cost me an hour, but next time would take maybe 15 minutes to correct. Hope this helps.

My Graco 360 vsp paint sprayer gets clogged when using zinsser fast 2 prime paint. It worked for a bit then started to clog. What would you recommend I do? TIA

Unsure of your model of paint sprayer, however, mine used a 2/3 turpentine to 1/3 paint to spray without clogging. Some people unscrew the paint holder and replace it with a paint can which can hold more of the paint mixture. Hope this helps.

How to repack the sprayer

The packings are static and self adjusting. The repack kit includes the piston so it replaces everything. Just buy the kit and follow the instructions. Try Scott at American Airless on 770 4771337.

Won't prime

Try to trouble shoot the problem by doing this:
clogged filter(s)
you did not clean paint out of machine properly on last use
the packings are worn and need to be replaced- it wont hold or build pressure- also that sprayer has a max tip size of .15

Shoots drips

Most airless spray guns spit a bit when you pull or release the trigger because the paint between the spray tip and the paint valve is under pressure but not enough to atomise the paint. If you increase the pressure you may reduce the spit to a point when you don't notice it. A blocked filter could slow the paint getting through to the tip cause lower pressure.

Prime valve repair

In all the paint sprayers I've worked on, I've only been able to repair a couple prime valves and they went totally bad a short time after that. They can be taken apart and cleaned up but in the long run you'll be much further ahead replacing it if it isn't holding pressure in your system.

I have a Milwaukee paint sprayer that will not prime and stay primed. If I work with it I can get it to spray water sometimes and never paint. I tried to prime with it and had to water down the primer to...

I had the same problem. Turned out to be the hose clamp was loose and it was sucking air. I did not find the problem until I connected the garden hose adapter and pressurized the line. After the line was pressurize water was sqirting out at the from the hose connection on the right angle connected. Tighted the clamp and it primed without issue.

I have a Wagner 834cw15. Spraying fine 10 mins ago. Now...can't get it to prime. Any suggestions? Spraying oil based kilz

I cannot find model 834
Check your owner's manual for troubleshooting steps
We used paint sprayers every day for years.
The prime valve goes bad
The steel balls that direct the paint between prime and hose, wear out
The steel ball that holds prime and hose pressure wears out

The steel balls can also get stuck
Turn prime lever on
Take a hammer and tap/bang front of paint sprayer until ball comes loose
I cannot see your sprayer so I don't know where the ball is located
The photo below says, keep lever up >> in your case lever is down or in prime position while tapping

sometimes the ballbearing in the shaft where you dip into the paint gets stuck .if you unscrew the end of the shaft and clean the ballbearing.then put back together and try prime again.
