Oil Pan drain plug is leaking. Dealer service replaced with oversized tapered plug but still leaking. How big of a job is it to replace oil pan?

you may be able to cure the leak with a thicker, softer gasket on the drain plug. Also the drain plugs come in several oversizes. So if the 1st one doesn't work you can try the next size.

considering the cost of oil pan replacement I would just add a dab of RTV sealant to the drain plug washer next time I had an oil change.

How do I soften up the front suspension other than changing the fork oil from 10 weight to 5 weight. the bike rides too rough and I"m about 160lbs. thanks

Try draining a very small amount of oil from each fork leg, there should be a small screw at the bottom of each fork leg for draining oil. See if you can let out the same amount of oil from each leg, i would start with about 30ml from each one. Make sure the front wheel is jacked up off the ground, so the oil wont come out under to much pressure.
Apart from that, yes change the oil, but put less in, that will make it softer, its not so much the oil weight, but more so how much oil you put in, less for a softer ride.

I have water standing below the veg. trays, not sure where it is coming. How do I find the drain lines.

The water comes from the accumulated moisture. Just
clean the drain at the back of the veg tray. Get you veg. tray out so you will find the drain.

Water softer will not backwash

Either there is no power, the main piston is jammed or there is debris in the DLFC (drain line flow control). You can take the drain line connection apart and pull out the rubber washer inside, this is the DLFC. See if it has sediment trapped in it, clean and reinstall.

Top tray not draining

I called the service tech, before Maytag stopped supporting this unit. (built by Fedders with Maytag name). Fedders has gone out of business (7-09). The tech guy said that the tray gets clogged up with crud and the solution is to try to flush the tray out with water and compressed air. I had the problem of water leaking from the trays but not properly draining through the drain hose. This solution did the trick.

My front-loading Kenmore washer's bleach and fabric softer dispenser trays are clogged. Does this entire drawer come out so I can clean?

should be able to pull drawer out completely. pull it out as far as it will go. you should see a little lever you can deprese at right rear to pull drawer all the way out.

Bleach and Fabric softer will not dispense

I had the same problem. I took a sewing pin and stuck it up into the holes at the top and really dug around in there. There was a bunch of slimy gunk in there but works fine now.

Any ideas on cleaning where you put powder and fabric softer?

You can remove the tray by pusing in on the tab right behind the fabric softner compartment(on top). This would make cleaning very easy as you could take it and clean it right at the sink. Just make sure you don't over due it and wear out the tray.
