New craftsman, pull chord will only pull 6 inches

I have a 1 yr old crafstman, that I had folded the handle up to put it away. I can only pull the chord about 6 " and then it locks. The blade will turn, but harder than it should be. And it is clean underneath. I partially took off cover and I see that it only rotates 1/2 way around and then it's like it hit something--- consistently every time.

Check the brake cable that goes to the flywheel, you may have something loose or broken. the lever on the handle you press to crank it may have come loose from the cable. it may be loose at the end under the cover also. some have adjustments some don't.

# 247.88690 belt slipping when under load . i dont see an adjustment

Unfortunately there is no adjustment for the auger drive belt on this machine. The belt is either good or bad. These belts do stretch over time. I have to replace my belt every 4 or 5 years.
BUT! Before you go out and get a new belt, get your manual and using the directions there, pull the cover off the belt area and take a close look at the belt, idler pulley, tensioning spring and cable from your handle. Be sure to follow all safety procedures like pulling the spark plug wire.
If you don't have your manual you can get one at managemylife.com. Click on manuals and input your model number. You can read, download, and print your manual for free there.
Have someone engage the auger control (push down on the handle) Take you finger and push down on the long side of the belt (the side away from the idler). A good belt will have about 1/2 inch of play when pushed. More than that or if the belt is frayed, or glazed (very shiny) on the v-sides, replace it.
If the belt doesn't look bad, remove it and turn the auger pulley by hand. It should turn freely. If it doesn't, troubleshoot why and fix the real problem. No use buying a new belt and burn it up right away because something else is causing the belt to slip. (I have seen everything from a bad bearing to an old sock wrapped around the auger to cause the belt to burn out)

You can get a new one from searspartsdirect.com. Put in your model number or the part number below and you can order it and have it shipped right to your home. Your local MTD repair shop may have the belt also.
The MTD/Craftsman/Arnold part number for the belt is: 954-04050

2010 Craftsman Lt 2000 deck height adjustment?

just bought a new craftsman riding mower. model lt1500. 17.5 hp with 42 inch deck. first time using I had the deck hight handle set on 6 the highest setting and still cuts grass to short, matter of fact it scalped the grass. anyway to set the deck higher. Its only 3 days old and still under warranty but the sears store is 20 miles away and I rented a trailer to go pick it up and hate to go rent another trailer to bring it back if its just a simple adjustment.

My crafstman garage door opener goes down and then

Remove the cover from the motor unit and check the drive gear. It is a white nylon gear and is probably stripped.

Canon MP560 brand new. Don't have booklet available. How do I load the paper from the back? Thank you!

reach behind where scanner hinges on back of printer in middle and gently pull up. Once it's completely pulled up -- about 6 inches, you can let it fall back away from the printer and the top portion folds out. You can feed paper in from the back that way.

Craftsman 20HP , can't stop freewheeling,

Sounds like your problem is the key in your rear wheel is missing or sheared, you have to remove the wheel @ tire assembly ,pull rubber cap off then clip to remove if one of the keys is sheared or gone it will go into gear and the brake will work ,but they will only stop the shaft without the key it will not move or brake becuase its not attached if you know what I mean.
