This is gotta be the largest complaint I hear from folks when they get a new flat screen , its not loud enough or the sound sounds muffled

flat screens are flat ! so theres no good way for mfg to put the speakers facing forward so sound has to hit the wall behind it first then gets directed forward to you ! (low/muffled)

sound bars help with this , but for true rich sound , id go with a video receiver amp combo , some of these even have built in dvd players , and arrange its speakers in a forward facing direction

Connecting samsung sound bar to sanyo fvm3982 tv

Here are steps to connect a Samsung soundbar to a Sanyo FVM3982 TV using an optical cable:
  1. Locate the Optical Out port on the back of the Sanyo TV. This port will be labeled "Optical Out" and is usually covered by a small protective cap.
  2. Remove the protective cap from the Optical Out port and plug in one end of the optical cable.
  3. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the Optical In port on the Samsung soundbar. This port may be labeled "Optical In" or "Toslink".
  4. Turn on both the TV and the soundbar.
  5. On the Sanyo TV, use the remote to navigate to the audio settings. Look for an option to set the audio output to "External Speakers", "External Audio", or "Optical Out". Select this option.
  6. Adjust the volume on the Samsung soundbar using its remote control.
Once these steps are completed, the sound from the TV should be played through the Samsung soundbar. If you encounter any issues or don't hear any sound, check to make sure that the soundbar is set to the correct input and that the volume is turned up. Additionally, make sure that both the TV and soundbar are properly connected and powered on.

Pyle #PSBV200 soundbar there's no optical in on back of soundbar,my tv on back of it, does'nt have audio out, to plug in red&white cables, what do i do?

Check if you have coax output (orange colour socket) on TV and soundbar if you have you can link them together for digital audio, if not check if you have a headpone socket if so you can buy an adpter from headpones to phono connectors (your red & white) but be aware that when you turn the volume up via TV remote control it will turn up the volume on the soundbar.

Does the Samsung UN50f6300af smart led tv support the Samsung Wireless audio soundbar HW-H450?

Because your TV is not Bluetooth-enabled and you are trying to connect it to a Bluetooth-enabled soundbar via Bluetooth. There are other ways to connect your TV to the soundbar:

1. analog AUDIO OUT (L/R) of your TV to the AUX IN on the soundbar (use a 3.5 mm.-to-RCA audio cable).
2. Optical OUT on your TV to Optical IN on the soundbar.
3. HDMI port to HDMI port (this may not work if your TV is not ARC compliant you have to try).

You get better sound quality with option 2.or 3. (if this one works for your TV)

Here is the link to download the soundbar's User Manual for help with the connections:

How do I hook up a home theater system to my tv

The following instruction depends entirely on the design of your TV and soundbar. Soundbars are a device that considerably newer than TV technology and thus are not subject to the variety of build standards to most modern TVs; but are usually compatible.
Turn off your TV.
If your TV has an audio out, or variable out, connect 2 RCA jacks to the left and right channels from the TV to the left and right inputs on the soundbar. If the soundbar is "active" thus having it's own amplifier source; turn it on.
Turn on the TV and increase volume. The soundbar very likely has it's own volume control. Adjust volume on it.
