Sometimes you need to double check what device it was sent to. happen with me and my phone reader. It was sending it to my old phone (which was broken) and not to my new one..

How do get a book from amazon on my laptop

You will probably need to download the Kindle App for your laptop, (it's usually free), and sign into your account. You should be able to access all your books once you have done it.

How do I get boos on my kindle

Hello, Reg -

Clarification: Are you asking how you can get books (not "boos"), meaning e-books, to read on your Kindle?

If so . . .

Kindle is an e-reader which is proprietary to Amazon - Amazon.com.

I have no idea where you reside - in what country. I am answering from the USA. Fixya.com receives questions from people worldwide.

For your Kindle, you will need to go to the Amazon website for where (country) you reside, then go to the Amazon department for Books, find e-books you wish to read, and order and pay for the Kindle version for those books.

Through the Kindle, owners can also access Amazon's Kindle store.

Read about other ways to obtain e-books to read on your Kindle here, including borrowing e-books from your public library to read on your Kindle:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201252760

There is more information here:
https://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/fd/kcp

You may find this How Stuff Works multiple page article on "How the Amazon Kindle Works" instructive:
https://electronics.howstuffworks.com/gadgets/travel/amazon-kindle.htm

There are other options for e-books to read on a Kindle, but this information should be enough to get you started.

Best wishes.

I bought a new kindle and have a question

You would need to deregister the device from the new email address/account and register it to your old address/account, the one that has the rest of your books.

Once registered to your previous account you will be able to take advantage of the Kindle Owner's Lending Library feature.
Here's more information on it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200757120

Once you've registered your Kindle to your own Amazon account you may still be able to access any books on your previous account if you can take advantage of the Family Library option. Information here:

How do I access the books on my kindle from my ipad Kindle app?

You will need to download the Kindle app ( from the App Store ) on your iPad or iPhone. You can then access your account on Amazon and probably download whatever you have on the Kindle to those devices. I have it and it works great....never went back to the Fire.
