Best to call Minn Kota direct for the manual Youll need your serial number thrust of motor and shaft length..
800-227-6433 they will help you with any technical questions.

I have a trolling motor and can't seem to get it to come on. I seen it work when I got the boat. But now it won't come on.

Hey Chris,, you are starting a project (or wanting to) that is going to be problematic... It will be easier to go buy a new trolling motor with the money you are going to spend attempting this conversion... the newer trolling motors are so much more efficient...

I believe the Mag 36 is a 12v and the Mag 40 is a 24v......Ive been doin a little research and cant find anything that points to a 12 and 24v system.....

Minn Kota Trolling Motor will not run

Hi!
For starters, here is a schematic:
Endura 30
Check to see if there is appropriate voltage getting to the switch (with an ohm meter).
You can (please do this carefully) disconnect the battery positive and negative as well as the motor red and motor black wires and connect the Batt positive to the motor red and the Batt negative to the motor black. If the motor runs, the switch is faulty. If it doesn't then I suspect the motor needs looking at.
