Hi,, today i got the solution for the problem 'Tv Stuck On Language Screen"
I have Skyworth Lcd and it was stuck on Language screen 4 days back, i've tried every sigle App and Different Universal Remotes and buttons on Tv but nothing was working except a single App named "SURE UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR TV"
i suggest if someone face this Language screen stucking problem and no buttons and remotes are working then you should download this App on your Cell phone and select your tv and you'll surely be able to restore your Tv.

Try to see if any of these four methods will work.
Sanyo TVs
1. Press VIDEO MODE or TV/VIDEO button in front panel or on remote
2. Press MENU , choose FEATURE SETUP, then choose either VIDEO MODE or TV/AV, select VIDEO or AV
3. Press TV/AV or INPUT SELECT on remote
4. Press SETUP, choose TV/AV, switch to AV

TW Cable lists several codes to cover different models. • Choose a code and input into remote to see which code works. Try all codes. There were several codes to choose from and to try inputting into my TW Cable remote. Finally, the next to last code worked on my TW Cable remote -The Atlas OCAP 5-Device Remote Control by Universal Electronics. The code for this remote for Daewoo TV Model DTQ-13P2FC is 1661. Hope this helps. Otherwise, try checking the site of your cable or satellite provider & you should be able to get their add device codes for free.

I assume, that the TV is skipping chan 3 when using the Channel buttons on the TV.

You can try 2 things.. First see if your converter box will use chn 4. Usually there will be a very small switch on the back of the box marked with a small 3 on one side and 4 on the other. If so, use that till you get a replacement remote.

If that's not an option, you can also, Re-scan the channels on the TV. to find all available chn for memory.. BUT FIRST making sure that the converter box is on and working.
The TV shuold then detect that there is a signal on chn 3 and make it available to the chn buttons on the set.

You will have to use the menu buttons on the set to do this.. Hopefully one of the buttons is the menu call up, then you use vol or chn buttons to navigate it.

If your TV is supplied with a video input, you will need a set of Composite Baseband video cables commonly known as RCA cables (Yellow, Red, White).

See the last paragraph if your TV is not supplied with a video input.

You will connect the Yellow (Video) from the DVD's video output, to the Yellow (Video) input on the TV set; example is VIDEO 1 or AV1.
You will connect the Red (Right Audio) from the DVD's Red Audio output, to the Red (Right Audio) input on the TV set using the same input number as example above.
You will connect the White (Left Audio) from the DVD's White Audio output, to the White (Left Audio) input on the TV set using the same input number as example above.

Turn on DVD, and TV set. Select the proper input on the TV set using the input button (video, source, AV select, etc.)

If your TV set is not supplied with a video input only a coax cable input, you will need an RF Modulator which can be purchased at any Best Buy, Radio Shack, Wal-mart, etc. You will also need a small coax jumper (3 to 6 foot should do it), and a set of RCA cables (Yellow, Red, White) as described above. The RF Modulator comes with instructions on how to connect it. It has a coax input, RCA input and a coax output that will connect to your TV set.

sandraw, try disconnecting the tv from the ac outlet for a few seconds(20-30) and reconnect and then try your remote, in your description you do not mention if this remote is the original equipped remote that came with the tv, but i am guessing it is since it is a fairly recent model. You also don't mention if the tv works with the function keys(pow,volup/dn,chn up/dn etc)this also might point out to wether there is damage to the ir preamp board, a bad preamp board would also impair the overall function of the remote as well as the customer selection from the built in function keys. hope this helped and please leave your positive feedback, if i answered your question.thanks!

During a recent move the remote was lost. I have the 6420FF in my son's room and trying to set up dvd and wi console set up, but cannot adjust tv via menu button on tv. Is there any way to set-up game system and/or dvd without remote?

Simple matter. The Yellow cable will connect from Video Out of VCR to VIDEO IN of TV. Red cable will connect from AUDIO OUR (R) of VCR to AUDIO IN (R) of TV and AUDIO OUT (L) of VCR will connect to AUDIO IN (L) of TV.
