The power port is damaged - most likely the solder joints are loose or broken. You need to find a store where someone can open the case, order the new part for the tablet and then solder the new power port to the board.

Then it will be as good as new.

I have replaced power ports on laptops, phones and tablets.

My Samsung tablet won't charge when plugged in

Does it have a micro USB charger/charging port? This was the universal charging adapter most manufacturers other than Apple moved to around 5 years ago. In my experience, the charging port to charger connection can become loose and prevent charging....especially if you use the tablet or phone during charging. The best method I have found to troubleshoot the issue is to try a charger that successfully charges another device and plug it into the tablet or phone. If your device still does not charge, and especially if the connection is loose, it is most likely that your charging port is damaged. Another possible issue would be the battery itself but the charger or charging port is the most likely culprit for your issue.

How do i fix a battery on a samsung tablet

The problem may be a frayed wire inside the charger cable right at the connector, or the charger jack may be worn or have a cracked solder connection. If it charges reliably with a different cable (such as a USB cable connected to the computer, it is probably the charger cable. If it has to be wiggled to get it to charge with a known good cable, then the charger jack should be replaced. This requires an expert technician; the solder connections are very small, and the circuitry requires special handling because it is easily damaged by static electricity.

Do I need to replace a battery or adaptor for tar us tablet that won't charge unless I move cord plug until .

if you have to "wiggle " the end of the charger where it enters the tablet then its the charging port on the tablet itself that needs re soldering or changed. check the charger by plugging it into some thing else with the same end on ( phone etc ) to make sure its not the charger end. if it works fine then you need to change the port on the table.

The charge dock on tablet broke so we can not charge tablet can it be fixed? We just got it this October.

Juello. Did some research on your tablet at Amazon, (http://amzn.to/1xWx6S5) and see that they also have an AC charger (AC charger adapter with a 3.5mm power jack and delivering 5VDC 2A). Available for $5: iRulu Black AC Home Wall Adapter Cable Charger for Tablet PC 5V 2000mAh or a there's a nice replacement KB and cover: iRulu New Portable 10 1 10 5 Android Tablet USB Keyboard Case Black . I would guess the connector snapped off inside the tablet, so you will have to remove it with some tweezers. If the pin for the AC adapter broke off inside the tablet, that's a problem, but most everything can be charged from the USB port too see this website:

What charger can I use to charge tablet

That depends on the tablet.
Many tablets charge via the USB port, the power coming either from a computer's USB port or from a wall adapter.
If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and specify the make and model of your tablet.

My apple ipad is not reponding when iam charging it how do i reset it

Hello,

If you charge your iPad on a power adapter, the iPad should respond while charging, except if your iPad battery is so low the apps need more power to run.

If you charge your iPad on the USB port of your computer, it is normal you cannot use your apps as the iPad is not only in battery charging mode but also in synchronizing mode with iTunes in the computer. You should lose the habit to charge the iPad on the PC and use a dedicated power adapter instead, as dedicated power adapters charge the iPad battery 2 to 4 times faster than the USB port of most computers.
USB port power: 2.5 Watts in general (5 volt x 0.5 A = 2.5 Watts)
iPhone charger: 5 watts
iPad charger: 10 or 12 watts

What do ido to make my kindleD00901 operational SCRREN showing critical battery

The nice thing is, that the Kindle/Amazon charger (Ac adapter) is clearly marked as being an Amazon/Kindle charger.

So, here's what you do, perform the hard reset of the Kindle (slide and hold the power switch over to 20+seconds; count slowly; release, then connect to your Amazon/Kindle AC adapter. Then leave it connected for 30+minutes; and should the battery charge, the Kindle screen will return to normal.

Alternate step to try is; if you don't have the actual Kindle AC adapter, you will need to try to charge via the USB port from your computer.

The trick here is, that the Kindle takes longer to charge direct from a computer USB port, and the computer has to be left on the whole time and CANNOT go to sleep, as the power to the USB ports might be turned off.
Also, it's best if you connect to a "powered" USB hub, or the USB ports found at the back of a computer tower (not the front USB ports as most of the time, the front ports do not supply enough power for Kindle charging).

Tablet won"t charge with charger

Make sure you are using the charger that came with the unit.

Wiggle the cable in the USB port on the tablet to make sure you have a connection and that it isn't a faulty USB cable or that the USB port is failing.

Try using a different charger that will deliver 5 Volts at 2 Amps...no less.

If none of these solutions work, return the unit to the GeekSquad Bench and have them look at it.

Kocaso m1068 will not power on

Try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before.

Googe nexus 7 will nt charge

If you feel comfortable you could take it apart and re-solder the charge port. Most tablets are not that hard to take apart. You really just need some plastic pry bars and small screw drivers
