Hi,
You need to replace the CPU fan as it has failed, I recommend that you refrain from using the computer until you have replaced the fan, this is because it has no way of cooling down and you will be running the risk of blowing the processor and/or the motherboard up.
The CPU fan is located inside the case and is attached to the motherboard on top of the processor.

Regards.

First you must determine which fan it is. open the side of the tower and turn on pc. watch which fan is mot rotating. i've seen cases where cpu fans don't turn because of wires getting in the way of fan blades.

if this is not the case, once you determine which fan is not working, just turn off pc, remove the fan, go to PC store and replace

This is probably because the fan has most likely 'died'. I would replace the fan because you don't what your computer to start to freeze up, overheat etc...

HLP4663wx/xaa Fan or Color wheel making noise? I first noticed it within the last week making noise when turning the set off. Now it's continuous. Could hear it slowing down on power off, constant...

A fan like noise is 98% of the time the color wheel.

Wheel turns at over 12,000 rpm and common failure is "fan like sound or even grinding sound".

When these sets first came out if the high pitched sound started women who have better hearing in that range usually hear it first.

If wheel really fails it will shatter and set will not come on----a grinding sound may be noticed just before total failure.

The right side of the fridge is not cooling well. the freezer is fine, but it also making a strange noise

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
That strange noise your hearing is probably the fan blades of the evaporator fan striking ice build up on the evaportor coils. This symptom is typical of and automadefrosting problem.... or someone left the freezer door open for a very long period.
You can try doing a manual defrost by unplugging the unit and place a fan blowing into the freezer compartment / compartment making noise for about 2 hours. (makes a water mess) After 2 hours tend to the water mess and restart the unit. Most likely the noise you heard will be gone... for a few days. If you have an automatic defrost problem the noise will return in about 72 hours as the ice build up gets larger on the evaporator coils.

Depending on date of manufacture this unit can have either a manual defrost timer or an adaptive defrost control board that controls the automatic defrost. .

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

My Samsung RSH1DTMH Fridge Freezer the fan started making a strange noise like either hitting some ice or a bearing gone now noise stopped but temperature gone up to 12 from three can you help please ?

We had the same problem with our Samsung RSH1 fridge freezer. We bought a kit from a company called Appliance DIY Repairs, that were recommended to us by a friend. We fitted the kit. It was an absolute doddle - and considerably cheaper than getting an enginer out to fix it.
