The gopro wont charge either by new mac lap top or by adaptor with wall outlet

What is not working? Your question is somewhat vague. Dose it start without the battery installed and plugged into the power adaptor? It could be the laptop was put away without being totally shut off. The battery eventually crapped out and now you need a new battery. A totally discharged battery will take a minimum of 6 hours to charge. Try pluging in the laptop to the power adaptor and let it set overnight.

Try another outlet. If you're charging the headset through your computer, then use a wall charger. Leave it to charge overnight. If it wont charge, then bring it back to the store because your battery may be defective.

mcdevito75 here, I don"t know too much about Lap Tops, But check that the switch for battery ? a/c is switched to a/c or wall current is your lap Top has one. Also check the wall outlet see if it"s good, also check if there are ant fuses in your Lap Top.

Hi guest, you cannot charge the laptop thru usb, it will be solely on the AC adaptor port. USB's are functioned for multi-media devices such as cameras, MP3 players, etc..

Maybe your battery is totally drained.

Try to connect the AC adaptor of your laptop and plug it to the wall outlet and let it charge for 3 hours or more. When you plug it on the wall socket, it won't show the laptop's led blinking since it was totally drained. But after 3 minutes or more, it will start to show the blinking led to indicate charging. When blinking stops led light disappears, it is fully charged and ready to use.

Remember: Do not use your laptop while it is plugged in to save your battery life. When at home, remove the battery while it is fully charged and plug the AC adaptor directly to the wall outlet. It will still work without the battery as long as it is plugged directly to the wall socket.

You need to push the POWER/MODE button once it is connected and the red charging light is on. It will then say "usb" and will show up on the desktop for you.

Sometimes it happens battery charging, If you can off the outlet and your lap top automatically off thats the time you will change your battery.

If the AC power light is blinking, try the following steps:

1 Cut off power to the computer by disconnecting the AC adaptor and removing the battery. The error condition will be interrupted, and the AC power light will stop flashing.

Once the battery has been trickle-charged, it may begin working correctly again. If the trickle-charging does not prove effective, consider replacing the battery with a new one.

4 Connect the AC adaptor to a different power outlet, preferably in a different room. If the computer starts normally, there may be a problem with the AC outlet itself, or the voltage level available from it.

5 Verify that the AC adaptor is the correct unit for your computer model. The computer may not be able to start from an AC adaptor that is rated for less current (amperage) than the computer requires, even if the rated voltage is correct, and the plug fits correctly in the DC-IN socket. The labels on the bottom of the computer and the AC adaptor show the specifications for voltage ("V") and current ("A") for each device. The voltage level must match exactly. The amperage rating of the AC adaptor must be equal to or greater than that required by the computer

can you boot with the AC adapter? maybe the battery is completely dead.
