The oven pilot is usually located at the back of the oven; turn a screw on the pilot ignition unit to adjust the pilot flame height.

here is a link, pretty much all older ranges operate the same.

I just got my 1930s Wedgewood stove working!! My question is; I am not sure about the pilot light for the oven???

If it works leave it, but really all work on Gas appliances should be done by a registered gas technician.

I have a 1950's wedgewood stove that I just purchased. I can not get the pilot light to light in the oven and the ember-glow broiler's pilot is lit and the ring lit once but will not ignite again.

I thought my 1972 GE was old! You need to have it serviced by an elderly gas appliance technician. The pilot jets and thermocouples and hoods can be cleaned by you, but nothing else. It also needs testing for the gas pressure in your house, using an old liquid manometer and adjusting accordingly..

How to light the oven on a wedgewood t-2122 in a1970's popup camper

Use a long neck lighter. Place the flame under the oven's thermocouple, then turn the oven to "pilot" or "light" until the flame will stay on.
Once lit, turn to the desired temperature and enjoy. Make sure you have a fresh air supply such as a roof vent open, along with your hood fan running anytime you cook with gas indoors.

Have old wedgewood oven in home... How do I adjust the pilot light?

There's usually a small flat screw on the control or near the head of the pilot light. You turn it to change the size of the flame. Before you make and changes, make sure the pilot is clean, most of the time its partially clogged with ash, food etc. That will cause it to burn much smaller or keep going out. If you need to adjust it, do so with small steps.

Pilot light on 1954 wedgewood gas stove burns too hight how to adjust

There are small screws on the manifold that control the pilot fame. They could be accessed by removing the top panels or sometimes they can be accessed from the front , Some of the front panels snap off. remove the burner tops and trace the tubes back to the valve manifold and you should see a screw on a small valve. Turn these and the pilot lihght should go up or down.

Our Wedgewood stove suddenly started acting up. We have to use the Reset button often to get any oven lighting at all. The pilots are fine. The broiler (separate compartment) is fine. But the oven lights...

It sounds like the problem is either the safety valve (the reset button) or the oven thermostat (the assembly behind the oven temperature knob). Both parts can be rebuilt (if they are original parts) and replacement parts are still made for 1940's and 50's Wedgewoods.

Garland stove pilot light problem, again but different

I'm not familiar with Garlands. When I run into a similar problem with other stoves of that vintage (Wedgewoods, etc.) I trace the pilot lines piece by piece, from the manifold to the pilot burner, if necessary opening a connection or two to see where I'm getting gas and where I'm not.

Is there a needle valve for adjusting the pilot flame? Is there gas getting all the way to the pilot burner? When it's the pilot burner itself that's the problem, I take it apart, brush/blow/shake out the crud, and run a small drill (#79 or so) through the orifice.
