How to connect Creative Sound Blaster model SB0270 from audio output on Radio 3.5 mm jack (head phone socket) and copy sound/audio to to my PC file My installation CD does not even open, I use windows XP, I have had this quite a while and until now have not tried to use/install, is the installation CD out of date?? The delay in using it is that my wife was terminally ill and I had to nurse her, and of course it has been a question of time to get back on line and catch up with life
Check whether the sound card driver for Vista has been installed. Also check the status of the sound card in device manager. As this is an external USB, check and install latest USB drivers for Vista.

Please check that your USB port is enable in BIOS or not ,If disable pls Enable it and put the Legacy USB support in Auto mode.after that check for sound .If still issue not resolve pls connect another USB port.if still problem comes then Install the compatible device driver
. Right click on Mycomputer, select properties 2. Select hardware 3. Select Device manager 4. double click on the sound,volume and controller 5. if any yellow color pointed is displayed on any option then right click on the option and uninstall it 6. then select Action from the menu bar on the top and select scan for hardware changes
