How to replace the water boot on my maytag maxima MHW6000XG1

water level sensor not reading empty problem in the house supply tap ( washer blocking outlet--not turned on--inlet solenoid faulty and not opening to allow water in)

Pump, filter or drainage problem.
Check there is nothing jammed in the pump or the filter.
Make sure the drain is not blocked or running "up hill"

you have a communication error from the UI (user interface) to the CCU (Central Control UNIT). It could be the wiring or the control itself

The bellows boot is the rubber accordian like shaped piece that protects the axle from water and debris entering into the axle, which is covered in grease, and prevents the axle from premature wear. This should have been take care of when the CV axles were replaced. (if it is indeed the bellows boot for the CV axle.)

Make sure you get a spring compressor and I reccomend replacing both struts, dust boots, mounts and bearings. Usualyl due to age the mount/bearing will cause noise/steering issuse and the dust boots are there to help the struts last longer by not letting water/dirt ruin the strut seals

Here is the solution I found that worked for me, there is a small drain hole at the bottom of the boot that is connected to a drain hose. Remove the hose and clean out to make sure that it has not become plagged. replace hose and reattach boot. Mine stoped leaking imediately.
